My aegis legend got a problem. i need to change the usb port cover.

Pretty sure that port is only for firmware upgrades. Stuff the plug back in there and use an external charger.

Snip off the tail. The disconnected end isn't going to harm anything and the plug will stay in there without it. Disassembling the Legend is a major undertaking that will break the seals and compromise its integrity.

I just checked my parts bag and you're right. Moreover his picture IS the spare one. He's saying he can't fit the retention plug in the hole because there's still silicone stuck in there from the broken one that he doesn't know how to get out. Use more force?

Yeah, if you can't extract the broken end with needle nose pliers or tweezers, I'd definitely try to shove the new one down in there with something pointy. There should be enough room. Do post if you're successful!

Take the Battery(ies) out 1st.

Tiny dab of super glue on a toothpick. Hold the toothpick on the stuck part steady (no wiggles) for 30sec. Remove part.

Or high explosives. That will do it 100%

If explosives are used, exercise caution, but post a video of the task!

Place the mouse pointer on your name. You will get a drop down and on the left hand side of this drop down you will find "Personal Details". Click Personal Details.
In Personal Details, in middle of screen in gray, you will find "Location" Could fill that box line in.

If nothing else works how about using an actual usb cable (maybe an old one) and just cut off the cable... at least it would provide some protection.
