I have one and use it all day long. Very Small and 1200mah battery. Since it is not finished pretty, you dont care about scratches and stuff as much. U will get true 3.7v where as an ego and riva are really 3.2 ish. I used to use an ego with mega atty and carts, but 3.7v mods like the RoughStack have become my regular device.

That you want one is plain--need however? Perhaps if you feel as if you're going to go back to analogs, that's a need. Perhaps that you're batteries aren't lasting as long as they should, that's a need.

Only you can decided what a need is, and that all depends on you. If you do decide it is just a want, but you can afford it comfortably, go for it, if it makes you happy.

I had a mini vapestack and loved it.

However, I now have eGo's in many different colors and I love them.

The reason you don't NEED a roughstack is because you already have fabulous PVs that do what you need them to do...store and deliver your juice to the attys powered by the batts.

If you WANT another vaping toy, that is another issue.

I did not like the constant change in vaping style required to get the most out of the different PV's. I say for something really different, go with a 5v mod. Cheap and uses 510 stuff. Maybe $$$ are no issue for you, then you can spend $300 on a more beautiful juice holder/feeder/atty/batt container.

I know you want areason not to get one but I can't think of any. I love my roughstack and would recommend it to anyone.

I guess thats what I really want to hear.

Thanks. The Roughshack seems like a really good deal for a $75 mod. Replaceable switch, two 1200mah batts and a charger.

To be fair, buying a mod that isn't a sealed battery is an investment, if the battery dies, just replace it, if your egos / rivas die after x amount of charges, you gotta throw it in the trash.

Agreed. Thats one thing that makes the Roughstack so appealing. It seems to be a robust, well built, piece of equipment.

That being said tho.....if I can get 4 months out of an Ego or Riva battery, I feel like I have gotten my money's worth.

My first experience with vaping started a week ago and after researching for many weeks here on ECF I chose the RoughStack as my first vaping device. IT IS AMAZING! I can't compare it to anything else because it's the only thing I've tried...but the battery lasts ALL day, into the next day. I got the $75 kit you mentioned. Comes with the RoughStack unit, 2 protected ultrafire 18350 batteries 1200mAh, a battery charger, 2 510 atomizers, 5 empty cartridges, 1 bottle of ejuice of your choice...amazing! This thing will last forever...because as mentioned, the batteries can be replaced if they ever go bad, the switch too. It's SOLID!

A reason not to buy one? Hmmm...because you may vape even more once you have one, thus spending more money on yummy juices?

I have had 5 egos die in 4 months for various reasons - usually shorts in attys or cartos (ever had a battery die so you put your atty on another battery and it kills that one too?)

Given my experience I have decided to stop buying pv's with non-replaceable batteries (I just emailed Cybervex yesterday hoping he will make me another Bartleby).

My second choice for a mod would be a Roughstack simply because it is low priced and very rugged (I read some commit where they were kicking it around on a cement floor and it still worked)

But if you want a reason not to buy it - The only one I can give you is the one that gives me second thoughts - it is ugly :(

Why would you want to buy this thing? It's rather ugly so you probably will drop it or misuse it. The battery will last all day so you will get less quality time with your charger. With a LR atty you will make more vapor and draw more attention to yourself. You will have to answer all kinds of questions about it. Then you will start Dripping and forget how to use carts and cartos. You will probably even have trouble remembering which side of the battery is positive because of having to charge it less. Then you will probably invest in some kind of extention tube to make it 6v. Now even more batteries. The TH is going to be just what you are looking for and you will have nothing else to want.

Do you want all of that??? My god man get a hold of yourself!!!

I mean it is just not worth the $45 for all the problems you are going to get with it.

I know Icemanx. I saw your posts in another thread and thats what actually got me interested in it. After your enthusiastic review I had to check it out.

Unfortunately Madvape's site seems to be down right now. They are moving to a larger location. I can see a Roughstack in the not so distant future for me tho, thanks.
