We used to catch fireflies and put them in a mason jar, they looked so cool!!! We let them go before we went to bed
Yes! Does anyone remember "gold rush" gum? It was like nuggets and came in a little muslin drawstring bag. We used to put them in those bags and it made them glow. Fun!

Technically I'm better at the scaring 
but I do get scared.
I remember watching a movie with an old boyfriend, it was Room 1402. There was one part where he looked behind him, and when he faces, you think there should be something there. Well, he looked back and then front and OH BOY THERE IT WAS. I screamed loud and then my old boyfriend screamed twice as loud and knocked over a full bowl of popcorn. He blamed it on me because I screamed but I don't believe it
I used to scare my Mom ALL the time as a kid! Oh the memories...

I opened a drawer yesterday and saw one of my old ashtrays. It didn't make me jump out of my skin but it did make my heart jump. I wonder what that means. Any psychologists in the room?

Hmmmmm. No psychologist here but it sounds like a pretty normal reaction, given that so much of our lives have been tied up with smoking, our old "friend".....(NOT!). tm, it's weird that you would say this because I just got up into the cupboard above the fridge recently and spied the glass ashtray I used to favor and had some mixed feelings. Not that I'd go back to it!
That is a coingky dink. It just startled me to see it. I didn't really feel any strong emotions, it just made my heart jump. I don't miss cigarettes at all but if ecigs ever get banned here in the US....well that really scares me, so maybe seeing the ashtray reminded my subconscience that this could happen and made my heart jump. Just a guess.
If it is pretty, drag it out and use it as a PV and liquid holder on the coffee table !
It's not pretty and besides my heart might not be able to take it if it jumps every time I see it.
