was it just the blanks? or are the prefilled new too? I got 50 cartos of 555 and vanilla in the mail about 1-2 weeks ago. when exactly did these get on the shelves?
Is there an easy way for me to tell which version I have?
Those would have been the original design. The ones that just went up this week are the ones that might have the refinements. But I can't be sure when the refined cartos hit the filling stage, so I can't be sure which flavors got them.
But seriously guys, I haven't noticed any performance difference AT ALL in the prefilleds I'm using now for my personal
vaping, which I made sure all had the new refinements. This should improve wicking and reduce overheating and carmalization of high VG liquids, and reduce the possibility of
coils being placed too close to the silicon adhesive, and that's ALL.
They jumped the gun on implementing the refinements, because they were THAT sure of their solutions. Which annoyed the hell out of me, I'll be honest. I hate uncertainty, and I hate inconsistency. I would have rather waited and implemented it on the next batch, get them properly labeled, and announce it then.
But it's been testing out good. No noticable difference in prefilleds with our liquid, and while I have now gotten the burnt taste in two out of ten cartos I've tested so far under the worst case situation (100%VG on a 5V passthrough), that's far better than before where I was getting it in 3 or 4 out of 5. We're making good progress, and I am trying to make sure we don't change the performance on the prefilleds, just solve the issues with using our cartos on other batts and with other liquids.
