Did my best Frick sir. :)

Will be testing that once the Bloog is recharged Ms. Star. Lasted for 2 hours and 45 minutes. About what I expected. :)

Thank you Ms. Evie. I enjoyed comparing them... It really is like comparing the 8800 Ultra to the 9800. My friend loved his 9800's, he tri-sli'd them without having to water cool because of the lower heat output. For me, I loved my 8800's. Even enjoyed the extra work of water cooling when I went tri-sli...

Not bad for a shortie getting a workout. I finally timed my 78mm old style last night. With normal use, it lasted from 8pm til I went to bed at midnight, then another 30 mins this morning. And by normal I mean I wasn't puffing on it non-stop, but fairly regular. So it lasted over 4 hours. Now I need to try that with the new style.

They were two video cards released by Nvidia, the 8000 series being the first dx10 card Ms. Star. It was replaced by the 9000 series. The difference between the two were the manufacturing technology and amount of video ram. The 8800 was a 90nm chip (means it was bigger and more power hungry and put off more heat) the 9800 was 65nm. Otherwise they had the exact same number of cores running them. In essance the same card with tweaks.... :)

Well it has only been 3 months for you (your anniv is coming in a couple days :) ) No hurry to step further down yet. I started with 11s and they do pretty good for me under normal circumstances. But when I am angry or upset, that's when I think I need some stronger ones -- that's when I am the most tempted to grab an analog. I tried a pack of 6mg 555s, for the pre-bedtime vaping, but I have no plans to step any further down right now.

I dropped from 16mg to 11 after a month with bloog. and I'm not saying step down as an all day vape just for night time.

Vapor Warmth- Now this is the biggest difference between the two. For those who prefer a cooler vapor, Bloog is your go to. If you prefer a warmer vapor, go V4L. I measured the output of both, KD is 4.2 at full charge, the MF is 3.6. Goes hand in hand with the warmth of the vapor... For me, I like a warmer vape, others may not... This is completely up to the individual.....

Watch out for voltage differences under load.
An Ego, for example has 3.7V when charged, but put it under load (with an atty or a suitable resistance for measurement) and it immediately drops to 3.2V or even 3.0V.
Take the load out, and you have your 3.7V again.

All in all, I consider BMF's 3.6V regulation a big plus for 2 reasons:
  • It provides a more consistent experience, with no huge changes throughout the battery state.
  • That initial step down from 4.2V to 3.6V when fully charged has to help on battery life (Fully charged LiPo's are indeed 4.2V)

Yes I do Ms. Star, well technically it's antifreeze. Sli is when you run multiple video cards at one time in conjunction with each other. Tri sli is running three cards at one time.

Those numbers were test under load Pmos sir. Bloog gives you a consistent vape temp throughout the life of the batt, V4L changes as the batt life decreases. I can tell when my V4L batts are reaching their end, couldn't with the Bloog.

Didn't want to imply it wasn't sir Morandir :)
Although a lot knowledgeable people fail to take that into account.
The ego and the regular 510's are really sort of extreme examples of that voltage drop anyway.

It is nice that it consistently lets you vape without decline in performance right up to the end. It's like the last 2 puffs I think it might be time, and sure enough the next puff it starts blinking.

Yea...it's nice till you are at the door with dogs in heel anxious to go out, and all of a sudden there is this blinking light at the end of the pv....poor doggies have to wait as I try to wade my way through the crowd to get my backup...lol...Poor things it happens more often than not, you'd think they would know by now to just wait till I get the door open....or maybe I should know by now to just grab a freshly charged one before going to the door:facepalm:

I'm really off tonight... People is what I meant Ms. Star. Swype and I are not getting along. 3 misses now... I should just go back on my comp... Wife will get mad though... :)

Ms. Keelalagirl I feel your pain. Gotten into the habit of switching to a fresh batt every time I walk Sovie. Impossible to switch while walking him...
