They're technically designed for one use. The original carto designs had glued-in caps, and were meant to be thrown out when empty. Then people started filling them with a syringe, because of the cap design. Only recently have we gotten more "refill friendly" cartos, like the BMF cartos with their easily-removed drip tip. They even encourage dripping with that tip, a bad idea on automatic
batteries (other than the occasional drip or two).
I figure if I've filled it enough times that it either starts to taste nasty, or doesn't produce good vapor and flavor anymore, it's a goner. They're $2.00. I spent $12.00 a day on smoking. I can afford to throw one out after a week or so.
