Just waking up in the morning without coughing fits, being able to climb a few flights of stairs without being winded, and being able to actually taste the food I love more than makes up for any money spent. And my clothes not stinking, not standing in the snow freezing my tuchus off, etc.....
The benefits far outweigh the costs.
