Yep. Always been into astronomy. It's time I got a good 'scope. The prices are so reasonable now, I can't resist.

News is what I'm missing the most. I used to always have one news channel or another on whenever I wasn't actually watching the TV, and would tune in and out depending on my interest in the story. I can't find a good streaming news site to do that with, and not many regular news shows are available on Bit Torrent.

Justin.tv has you covered, if it's not blocked in China. Just go there and search "CNN" or "MSNBC". It's got the live streams of both, plus BBC World News. I won't comment on Fox News. AlJazeera English streams live on their own site, too.

Great site. I'm going to have to play around a bit with it, though. I can't seem to get it to stream fast enough with my VPN on, even though I usually get better speed (on torrent downloads anyway) with it than without it.

OK, seriously, thank you so much! Sitting at my computer handling bizzness is so much better with the streaming news to listen to. Hell, I might have to start staying home more now.

Justin.tv is a great resource when you want just about anything to watch. They used to stream Mystery Science Theater 3000 non-stop, 24 hours a day. Talk about staying up later than intended. Unfortunately they had to take it down, but there's still a ton of great programming on that site. The only thing is it's...a bit questionable whether their streams are legit, or where exactly they source the material. But it's a great site, and has been around a long time.

I've been bit torrenting all my entertainment for months now, so I don't think I'm in any position to complain about questionable streams.
