Usually it's the crappiest songs that get stuck in my head Popeye sir... On a few lucky occasions, an exceptionally good one... If I listen to "Slight Departure" by ilyAIMY it will drive out any bad song.....

I had Maxwell's Silver Hammer stuck for about 2 weeks. Whenever I'd see him post, bam, off it would start.

Morander, I think you miss my point... the angle on my right sholder was taking a bathroom break while the devil on my left wanted to piss people off with these horrid noises that some people call music.

This used to be one of my favorite songs of all time, but after years of getting it stuck in my head, I kind of dred hearing it now...

Red Hot Chili Peppers- I don't ever want to feeeeeel... like I did that day. Take me to the place I love... take me all the way

And who could resist this catchy piece of dog crap..

Hansen- um bob, do be dop dop um bob, ya eee ya!

Almost as bad as Justin Beaber- Baby, baby, ohhhhhh, baby, baby, ohhhhhh

I think the teeny bopper songs like Bieber's can be forgiven and ignored -- they were meant for 12 yr old girls. Just like some of the Beatles songs were for me (She Loves You yeah yeah yeah). Not much different from Bieber lyrics.

Do you remember the story about the school that had a Stop the Bop fundraiser? Played MMBop over the loudspeaker continuously until they collected their goal for money for Katrina victims.

Was it something I said?
yay!
As a rule I don't censor my daughter's music (partially because i don't want to censor mine!). She can listen to whatever she wants if it's at home (I'm a little more picky about stuff she can carry to share with friends on her ipod, play around her grandparents, whatever). If it's inappropriate, we just have a talk about why, then we talk about what we like about it, and it's cool. Ke$ha, souljaboy, lady gaga, NWA, whatever. But no Bieber. Ever. I draw the line there.
(might admit I never understood the beetles either)

When I'm at the KTV, I'm looking for my favorite songs by my favorite artists. Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Meatloaf, etc.

Here are some of my faves that most KTVs have:
Blaze of Glory
Bed of Roses
Bad Medicine
Always
Don't cry
Welcome to the Jungle
Patience
November Rain
Rock N Roll Dreams
Better Man

But what do the DJs and my friends pick out for me instead? Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Blue, Boys to Men, Michael Jackson, etc. Bleah! And for some damn reason, I seem to have to sing Hotel California at least once every damn time.
