If I remember correctly, at least one of those people was unhappy there, too, and later retracted the negativity. They have some bad apples, and we've had some bad apples. Its too bad we can't be seen individually instead of lumped into a group. Everyone who frequents this sub forum is pretty nice, and I don't think I've seen anyone outright bashing another company.
I use names that ryhme at times for fun Ms. Star, not a knock, but as a way of saying things without really saying it... My exact quote was "Does it ryhme with Kloog?"

Morandir, you've done nothing wrong whatsoever, and if you had, I'd like to think we're all adult enough to shake hands afterward and continue our discussions of all things off-topic. We're all adults here. We level our own criticism of the company that sponsors this forum, and it's been well accepted by the leadership, and changes have resulted. That anyone should be considered an 'outsider', or not a member of some 'family', is simply silly. People should be judged by the quality of their character, not the vendor of their choosing. And, you gave a very fair and valuable review of Bloog's products, which was more than generous.

From what I've seen, there really isn't any riV4Lry from this side of the fence. We do refer to V4L as the riV4L, but as star said, she invented that as a clever way to refer to a competing vendor in a sponsored sub-forum (and I still give her mad props for coming up with that). We've since learned that mentioning that name is not taboo in this forum (from Leaford), but the name stuck.

My personal opinion on the two companies is that they are both reputable and sell products worthy of purchase. Both companies products have their strengths and their weaknesses.
I personally prefer the bloog batt/carto combination. However, my daughter and several friends prefer the V4L batts. Because they have a higher voltage they give a better TH.
Having said that I do believe that both companies have a leg up in helping us quit the analog habit. It is good to have a variety of good companies selling great products that help each of us meet our individual needs. We just need to be open and honest about the differences and accept them for what they are to help our friends and relatives to have a healthier lifestyle away from the stinkies.

I have both and use both....and in my opinion...well at least for me that is...I have found different flavs taste different on each product....haha, maybe it's just in my head, but that's what I get out of them

I would have both if it werent for the custom thing, i think v4l have some awsome looking products.. and im a sucker for the logo thing.... just am.. know its silly...Things with logos just look better, more expensive. Dunno why....

Hows that? Well it just seems silly to pay 30 bucks in shipping for one batt at a time.. Especially when these generic type batts are a hit n miss, in regards to beeing airy or not.. Some need pauses, some dont, its a lottory.. Would terribly like a diamond though..Even though i heard its the same with them.. short and purple.... uhhh
