I have been following this thread for some time now, after I ordered one from FT. (22mm, SS + Glass tank (2*Spare Decks) SKU 1899301, it is no longer on their web site.) Received it today and knew what to look for, or I thought I did. 510 pin is so long it will not screw into any mod and it is as far in it will go. Took it to bits and it will not go in any farther 2 to 2 1/2mm sticking out of the post. I think this is a new issue from everyone else.

Filled the tank up with water and after a short time it was leaking, so what else is new. Back to China with the glass tank version of Chucky.

Dam it! That's the same one I'm expecting in a day or two...
But I find it easier to shorten parts that are too long, then to stretch the ones that are too short. LOL

The State of Confusion
ITTechy we'll find out soon, I have one on the way.

Roxy, I'm beginning to think your right, the Bride of Chucky went nuts last night. The more I play with it I think it has to do with what they substituted for the emetal coating, the over spray on other parts and the lack of a real 510 pin insulator. Last night I would get a good ohm reading until I put the tank on the deck. Friggin clones are possessed by Satan

Well hopefully the SR clone I get will work as expected....

The company I pre-ordered through guarantees no leaks!

Midsouth Trading Company

He doesn't list anything on his web site yet as he has been selling on Ebay, that is where I saw the SR with the two airflow rings and all three decks; when I went back a day later I couldn't find that listing of his so I emailed him and he told me Ebay deleted the post....

Shoot I wanted a genuine and couldn't find one anywhere!

Not even in Switzerland!

Reminds of the authentic Taifun'....you can get them for a few weeks if your lucky, then it's a few months until they are back in stock again!

LOL I just looked as I had this on order for like a month...JUST CANCELED IT!

I'll take my chances with a U.S. seller....easier and quicker to handle "issues"...

BTW This is NOT the one I was referring to with the three decks....

Man Roxy I feel for ya, but thanks for steering me away from the SR for my first RBA hehe.. I'm having enough "trouble" nailing the wicking on my new Infinite KFL clone, I'd be dead in the water if I had to deal with everything else.. Maybe when Infinite puts one out I'll try it hehe!

Yeah, here's the thing...a Rosev2 is a flavor monster. It might take time to set up, but the vape is excellent. The Lemo/kayfun/russian/taifun are easy to set up and give a very good vape. The SqR is a pita and the vape is subpar.

I agree with the flavor, even though I haven't had all the problems a lot of people have had, my squape r is cleaned and just sat on the side looking pretty, just due to the flavor being muted, if it produced the flavor like my lemo, orchid, fogger or russian, then would be in rotation, but it is just not there, wish it vaped as good as it looks.

Yeah, I'm about to put it away. I've tried several flavors now that are awesome in every other tank and dripper I own, but none are as good in the SqR. It is a beaut, so its too bad.

Monotremata, what's going on with the kayfun?
On mine, the openings where the juice channels meet the chimney were just a tad tight. I had to file the tops of those with a diamond bead reamer file to open them up a tiny bit more. Not by much. Only took a couple of swipes.

Nothing too terrible, but Ive spent the last 3 months with just Kanger heads, and recoiling/wicking those is a no brainer cause I know exactly how much to use haha.
Very first coil/wick friday morning was awesome, then decided to change juice yesterday from a 'dessert' flavor to my good old fruit favorites. Changed the wick and I dont know if I put too much or too little but the thing literally torched the middle out after like the 3rd puff. Opened it up and both the sides of the wick were just sitting there next to the coil.. Next one turned out to be TOO much wick, but finally got a nice one that lasted all day yesterday until I decided to see how many more wraps I could do with my 32ga wire, since these microcoils are SOOOOO small when you wrap em for 1.8-2 ohms (maybe 5/6 wraps at most).. I got one up to 8 or 9 at like 2 in the morning earlier, and was shocked it was still at 2.3 (the legs are ALOT shorter on an RBA than a Kanger head).. That ones been doing pretty rad since, even changed juice on it this morning and that flavor is popping right out! Was gonna get the Lemo after you suggested it but being broke and jobless I couldnt pass up the Infinite KFL for like $8 cheaper with free shipping hehe.. I gotta say looking at your guys pics that you always post of your coils, that macro mode on cameras sure makes things look a hell of a lot bigger than they are in reality.. I opened up my KFL and looked at the deck and went ARE YOU KIDDING ME IT LOOKS SO EASY ONLINE??? First coil went on perfect, but the one I made last night was a little tougher to get wrapped around the posts, but then again it was 2am and ya know after a six pack and then some, its a good thing I was using the MVP2 and not a mech mod haha.

Try 28 gauge on a 2.4mm screwdriver or thereabouts. Cut the wicks to the top of the chimney and gently tuck them down (don't shove them in).

My wicks are always very wet so I don't think they are impeded. I never put an o ring on the chimney though. I think I just don't care for the flavor as much as my others.

Me neither. My Infinite KFL was my first, and if it didn't look so pretty with all the special add-ons I got from FT, it would probably be sitting in the box.
i thought about using them on my Orchid V1, but that's looking pretty too, with the top-fill cap and frosty m-tank. That and the Pulse G are my two favorites right now.

Wow so people really use that much wick on one?? I saw that in one of Vaperev's tutorial videos and after seeing builds here I thought they were crazy haha. The 'prewrapped' wick and coil that mine came with has 2 big old fat braided pieces of silica in it, but I dont really use sillica so maybe thats what it needs.. Im still trying to figure out what that weird purple jelly looking wick is that Svoemestoe shows in the real KFL's user manual when they show you how to setup the coil and wick.

I started recoiling by taking apart my Kangers and using 32ga tensioned micros so I just kinda kept the same science going into the KFL.. Although thanks to the shorter legs on the KFL, I can use a few more wraps now so I dont have this hair sized coil in there.. The jig that I made to hold the drill bit is a tiny jewelers hand drill so the chuck wont hold anything bigger than a 1/16" bit (and the chuck is literally wide open with the bit shoved in there) so Im stuck with that ID until I can make something else to stick my 5/64" or bigger on. Im getting paid this friday coming up so Im definitely putting in an order for some 30ga (but maybe 28 now) after I pay off the lovely forum member Wicked Bad who just sent me a Smoktech SID a couple days ago and said he could wait a week til payday for the money (how awesome was that??).. Probably gonna try out some Rayon or maybe some of the cell cotton stuff from Sallys. Been using the same cotton ball for the last 3 months, but might as well try something different! I know I can get a bunch of Rayon with like a 10' bonus of some different size Kanthal from Lightning Vapes so just gotta decide, another 100' of wire, or some new wicks and some new wire to play with for a few months instead. :D

I contacted Focalecig tonight and asked for a refund. Now I can get the base to fire consistently until I screw the tank onto the deck.

    Talk about frustrating!

That happened to me over and over the first 3 days. Everything would read fine and consistant. Id screw it to the tank and it would go nuts! Very frustrating.

Kayfuns need a lot of wick. Hence the big coil, although I use an even bigger one in the Lemo as its a large kayfun. Trust me on this one :). I've never had a kayfun not work well. This is one tank I can coil and wick successfully in my sleep, lol!

I think Midsouth Trading was selling the Kingtu clone. I just ordered one from: https://originvape.com/product/squape-reloaded-rta-clone/
With coupon code VDND2014 for 10% off. It came out cheaper than most of the Kingtu pre-orders listed on ebay. And shipped two hours after I placed the order.

mine is cheaper with 3 rings, 3 decks, and a spare glass tank...I'm midsouthtrading...I also have EHPRO NO LOGO, 3 decks...both are Ivogo killers...wait, the Ivogo never really had life, did it....mine was DOA

Do they really think someone would keep that thing?
Well, if they've been reading this thread ... yeah, I can see how they might think so! (That's horribile, I know, I'm sorry. Um, my evil twin typed that!)

The company I pre-ordered through guarantees no leaks!

I'd been watching a few Squape Reloaded clone preorder listings on eBay for a week or so before finding this thread, his listings among them. I was holding off buying until seeing one update saying their shipment was on the way from China, but his feedback and listing details looked promising to me. (There was a direct link to one of his listings posted on this thread a few days ago. It was already on my watchlist and got wiped off eBay within a few hours of its appearance on this thread. Ouch. Sorry man!)

When his SquapeR listings disappeared I Googled a bit and found that "under construction" site ItTechy left. I got in touch with him that way. He tells me he's got the updated (o-ring'ed glass vs. glued-in glass) KingTu kits in stock with a bunch of goodies, the different decks, different color AFC rings, and extra glass IIRC. He tells me his shipment of the EHPro version (no logo on the tank, no cloned packaging) should arrive this week. He seems a nice guy, easy to work with. I'm getting one of each. *crosses fingers*

Hopefully I'll at least be in a better position to decide if I want an authentic if I ever get a chance to buy one.

EDIT - My word of honor, I'm not getting anything in return for singing his praises! I did first make sure to reserve my own kits with him before posting this, and I shot him an email as a heads up I was going to talk about him on this thread. That email probably explains the suspicious-looking timing if anyone's worried.
