That bites! Kinda disappointed on how weak the PMMA is. Might decide sometime to get a Pyrex replacement myself.

Chemistry Supply companies carry Pyrex tubing and if you use calipers to find the exact size and order 20 feet or tubing (pre etched to size) and just "snap and smooth" them out! Crazy cheap and effective AND citrus/menthol/pluid friendly :)

    rounding third and heading home...
Just picked up mine last night (sn#1648) and I am in love. Far from an original statement but "the air draw is too right for my taste". I plan to drill a second airhole 5/64 on the opposite side of the 510, should fix her right up. I'm noting it performs a little better on properly slotted/slightly raised 510s. In spoiled with the open draw of a kayfun 3.1 and the draw on my mister v3 is one that I got used to. As far as the build, I'm with it. Microcoil around a 3/32 with 27g 8/9 wrap with cotton ball and I love it:
I'm having a good experience with this atty and I love the easy way to build/fill.

All in all I'd say this was worth the price tag. ...... to find out fast tech made a clone, but oh well. Maybe I'll pick one up for spare parts?
But then again maybe I'll just cough up an extra $150 and snag another while I can.

where on fasttech did you see a clone? can't find it anywhere on the site......

Truth be told a buddy told me about it, I have yet to see it, but I have heard it verified from many peeps that there is a clone. Not sure if it's FT or tobeco or some other replica vendor, but I think he said it was on "gotsmok" or "vapor joes"

101vape.com has the clones in stock (tobeco)

Hey guys! I just purchased a squape in the classies, been thinking about one, but just happened to run across one & couldn't pass it up 4 the price.

I love kayfuns, & are proficient with them, my question is how does the squape compare to the kayfun, I guess it would compare best with the lite, due to no adjustable draw? I'm not sure, but has there been any modifications done to the 2nd batch of squapes, as far as air hole size goes? I read somewhere that they enlarged it a little or something, but I can't find this as fact

I don't have it yet, but should by Monday, looking forward to it. Thanks for any help!

I have two Squapes. My impressions: I like them better than the Kayfun Lite. The set up is much easier. It holds more juice. If you need to rewick or recoil, you don't have to empty the tank. Just turn it upside down and unscrew the base.
Mine are first versions, but the draw is fine, for me. Some people find it a little tight.

^ ^ ^ ^ I have 2 KLites, since July. Just got #1142 Squape last Friday. Easy, super easy to set up. Only draw back i found was the inner clear tank. The air draw is perfect for me, I run mine on a mech with airflow control. There is a SS tank available & pyrex window section available. Great device, when the price is good.

Thank you for your input, I am looking forward to receiving it. I am kinda hoping the draw will be a little more open than the original. I like my KF 3.1's for this reason, although the kfl air hole was nearly perfect.

I got a Squape from the wife for xmas. I'm used to the draw on my KFLs/KFL+. So I took a drill to it and opened up the airflow. Soooo much better now.

How much did u open it? Go thru both the base of the deck and the 510? Curious about this recently, just don't want to ruin the atty in the process.

Yes. I drilled the air hole on the 510 and the bore under the coil. Its super easy. I'm planning on drilling the other side of the 510 also just for a bit more flow. On the side with the air channel that does nothing.

    Edit: I used a 3/32" drill bit.

I have the SQuape and a KFL+ and they are about equal. So far, I prefer fruit flavors in the kfl+ and baked goods/tobaccos in the Squape. Considering drilling it out a little, but don't want to ruin it. WHile it is a little tighter than my sweet spot, I can't afford to mess it up.
Has anyone heard of any bad experiences from drilling out a SQuape? I'm particularly curious about going through the base and messing up the nonconductive coating.
