Robert just needs to whip up a oval REO.
That way the round bottle will fit perfect and the battery too!
Might make the REO's sold now obsolete though.
Honestly, I don't think the REO's sold now would ever truly be obsoleted

So I got my Vmod bottles today, their 4ml is strangely the same size as Robs 3ml...at any rate I do like the Vmod bottle top cap. It seals without an o ring and because it's a flat top it does take up less physical space than the dripper bottle. My natural conclusion was to combine the 2...this is Robs dripper cut off at the very top and the top part of the Vmod bottle. You lose a couple mm's in the melt squish process so I cut the pieces so that I had 54 mm of bottles, measured from the top of the Vmod cap to the bottom of Robs bottle.
Cookie sheet on the stove element set to med. repeatedly touch the edges of the bottles to the sheet till they start to get sticky and lightly press them together. It ends up being 5ml's

Wow Q, that's great!!!!!!!!
How is it holding up under squonking pressure? Where does the seam sit in regard to the squonk window?
Thanks, great work!
It takes squonk pressure fine...if you get the temp right the join you get...it seems like one bottle. I cut the bottom bottle right at the top to get the seam as high as I could, it sits at about 1/4 the way down in the window, meh, for me, I'll over look the minor aesthetics issue for the capacity...but that's just me

SWEET! Very imaginative!
Maybe taking a step further and show us pictures with the step by step process? Bottle modding for Dummies??![]()
I'm not sure I can dumb this down any further (Rudy's words, not mine)
3 basic steps:
1. measure (I've done that for you, 54 mm total pre weld length, post weld you'll have approx 50mm bottle incl. cap)
2. cut (don't sweat how perfect straight your cuts are, the edges of the bottles will squish by about 2mm each.)
3. weld (touch the edges to a hot surface until they get sticky and the plastic starts getting clear and liquidy then stick them together)
you've got a couple seconds after you take the bottles from the hot surface so no need to panic and make sure the hot surface is good and clean (along with the bottles) or you'll contaminate the weld.
But remember, this is not neurosurgery, it's a pretty forgiving process, like me I'm sure you all have a bunch of bottles kicking around, practice a few times, it's actually kinda fun (baring in mind that I'm easily amused)

Oh I am so doing this. Awesome Quigsworth. One thing holding me back from a mini was the 3ml juice bottle.
I ordered 2 of the 4-4.5 ml bottles from Vapage to experiment with the mini & 18490. Should be here in beginning of the week. I update you on my fiddling findings!![]()
I just received some of vapage 4ml bottles and as far as I can tell they are exactly the same size as the minis 3ml bottles, only the threads/cap is different.

It should work...the 2.1's have a raised step that the 3ml bottle rests on to stop it from being to far from the squonk hole...this exact bottle should work fine in a 14500
