I'm in for 15, but first somebody needs to test a square bottle to make sure it squonks ok and doesn't split easy.
Good call, but as FACE MEAT mentioned it should be easier to squonk...we currently force
juice up the pipe by mashing the bottle into the confines of the space...once there is no more room for the bottle to deform into it has no other option but to deflate (aka, push up the
juice) however if the bottle/
juice is already occupying the space...
As far as the splitting goes, ya, there is a seam on these bottles, I wondered that myself. I googled the injection mold process and it turns out the seam is not what we'd think, it's actually the mold edge...2 halves of the mold are brought together, a dribble of liquid LDPE gooped around a syringe needle type thing is lowered into the mold...once lowered in air is pumped into the dribble, blowing it up inside the mold...it cools then the mold halves pull apart and voila, bottle (keeping in mind that a machine is doing this at like 1000/min.)...long story short, there really shouldn't be any weak spot to split on.
