6 ml bottle in the mini 2.1 will be extremely helpful, everyday. When I get back from my trip, i'll check out the ones from amazon.

They really are making all the difference for me. I use my 2.1s a lot more now. I don't mind changing out batteries when I'm on the move, but I always hated having to refill the juice bottle when I was out and about. The little 6 ml square bottles make the Mini 2.1s just about perfect. And they make the 18490 Woodvil even better. It has become my favorite "in the car" REO.

Had first square bottle casualty this weekend!
My lady's bottle sprung a leak. Developed a slight hairline crack on one of the corners. Not sure if it was due to squonking to hard, warm summer sun softning the plastic, her fingernails, weakest part of bottle are the corners, or combination of all!!??!! So far no issues with any of the ones I replaced on my REOs just hers.:(

Ugh, that sucks Rudy and MoN!!!

For someone without a vise or drill press but with a cordless drill, an ice pick, and the normal assortment of hand tools, how would you suggest making the hole in the cap? I was thinking ice pick plus the tiny round diamond file until just big enough for the tube? I've used that to make holes in some kitchen stuff I have and it has worked well. Or do you have better suggestions? I know people have mentioned scissors but that doesn't seem like it would work that well to me.

I used a flat head screwdriver. Not a big one but smaller sized one. Then kinda just kept turning and turning until it widened out. I first used a tiny precision screwdriver but it was too tight so it kept pinching my tube. Then I went to a regular size screw driver, but a very small flat head. Worked fine.

I punch a little hole right in the middle, (use ice pick) then when it's big enough to get the sharp tip of a scissor blade in it, I proceed to twist it on the blade. Make sure you turn it in the direction where the sharp blade will scrape off little bits of plastic as it turns. Then I proceed to just ream it out with the scissor blade. I do it from both the top, and from underneath the cap. Makes a perfectly round little hole. Just keep twisting the blade (it keeps shaving little bits of plastic) until the hole is the right size. It makes a very round, very neat hole. I've done it on about six caps already, and they're perfect.
