Not coming along at all till I get the Pm for approval. Then who knows if we can still get in. Really just sitting around waiting. Cant do anything. Joker must be a busy guy and I dont want to get myself on the sht list. Sent a reminder this morning but still nothing. Not sure how long this can take but been working on it since Friday. Would have to look but the first one seemed like it took 24 hours or less. Maybe he is on vacation and I should send a PM to another mod

it will come soon enough, i just saw that fieldofvapor posted the first "celebrity" review of the Zmax2....seems interesting, i may just change my order to get the two batteries just because it appears to cast the amp limitation to the wind, grab a pheonix and wind a triple coil to the thing...

however i do like that the version we are getting has the OLED screen that makes things easier to read, one of the bigger flaws he found on the device...here is the review he posted, i'll pop it into the CoOp thread if you'd like striker:

lol i wonder why the two batteries defeat the amp limitation though....just seems strange...i will post it there momentarily

Took your advice. For each section we have diff mods. Is it always the ones highlighted in red that you need to talk to in that section? I sent a PM to Dusty and he was back at me like a reflex reaction. But not his area and passing my request on.

Two batteries mean more power. I think the more power the better and cant wait till they come out with something kicking 20 watts with electronics. Probably wont be long.

The ones in red are the admins of that section but I would assume anyone listed as an admin or mod would be able to address the question or pass it on as Dusty did.

eh, i'm not too worried about it, i'm more anxious for anthony from smokecignals to open up his shop here soon.....he's shooting for the day after black friday (black saturday i guess?) i've got a few bucks stashed away waiting to hang with the local vapers and grab a few bottles of juice

few questions.

this is my first RBA. got the ocd tank and the hole lined up. the problem im having is the fill screw seems threaded. cant get the mini allen wrench to open it all at. i pulled the tank up and fill the tank upside down and it works so i guess ill have to do that.

im assuming the mesh that came with the cobras is garbage? the original coil popped almost immediately at very low voltage while i was trying to adjust i recoiled it, getting 2.1 resistance with 32ga kanthal. can't get the bottle coil to glow at all, the rest glows red at the same time. i can vape it fine but after about 7 seconds the wick turns dry and i get a dry hit if i continue pulling.

also randomly when im vaping i hear a popping sound. when i power it on, ill randomly see the juice kind of spark apart and i think thats what im hearing. does that mean anything in particular?

my iphone camera can't zoom in enough for good quality.

Sounds like your screw might be cross-threaded or over-torqued. Get some pliers on it & break it free. The mesh that came with my Chobras are vaping fine. I did have to re-oxidize them though. It's not that big a deal if the bottom coil isn't glowing to start. You can nudge the bottom leg up off the base & you should get a better glow. The random poping sounds are normal if your wick is doing it's job properly.

he does do pretty good...I'm not a fan of his tobaccos I'll admit but some of his other juices are spot on...love the donut, his candy corn and his "cola" flavors a lot...and it will be nice to have a local juice stop where I can grab stuff in a pinch.

if I'm not mistaken he'll be uptown NOLA with the shop...I can't remember exactly where...I know he has it listed somewhere.

If it's running dry in 6-7 seconds, then there's a wicking problem...
Do you have a 'fat', solid wick? One without a center hole, or with a tiny hole? Is the wick a tight fit in the wick hole?
You might try vaping without the fill plug & see if that improves your wicking. Some people just leave them out. I prefer to leave mine in & 'adjust' the wick so that a pressure differential isn't created in the tank when chain vaping. I leave a center hole in the wick about the size of a 20ga needle & only roll it so 'fat'... so that there's a slight space around the wick in the hole.

I am having the same issue not in6-7 seconds but after a few nice long hits it tastes burnt a few more and yuck. If I let it sit for a few it's fine again should the chobra be able to keep up with chain vaping it's my first genesis not sure what to expect. Using the original wick at the moment have some 400 mesh on the way to see if it may wick faster.

Did you re-oxidize the original wick? I learned on the Chids that you had to do it to get proper wicking. No hot spots? That'll make it get funky quickly.
