Yes I did i did not have a good torch so that may be one of my problems I used a torch like grill lighter lol. I need to get out and get a real torch any recomedations on a nice compact one that will work well. I also driped juice on it and flamed it a few times as well. i noticed the first few times i dripped juice on it it wanted to roll off and not soak in. After a few burns it was golden and soaking in every drop eagerly. I used new wire and got it glowing nice and even after a fair bit of fiddleing so the only thing i can think of that may be a problem is the torching or the mesh and if you guys say the mesh that comes with it works i guess i am off to buy a torch later tonight as that muct be my issue. I am not ready to give up this will work one day :vapor:

Did you try vaping it with the fill plug out to see if your wicking improves?

I bought that orange torch from Harbor Freight and after 2 weeks it died. Then I went to sears, spent $50 and got this bad boy. It is very sturdy, and will never tip.

I bought one of these years ago and it's built very solid. It's an awesome little torch.

I was going to buy a fancy torch, or even a plumbers torch, but when I got my first Chid, this is what I had on hand.

And it's actually a beast, like it's named. I've been able to torch mesh when it was flat or rolled equally well. Beautiful triple blue flames from a butane lighter.

I got it as a freebie when I smoked Eclipse smokeless cigs, but used it a lot with my cigars.

I really like the look of that exactly what i was looking for small emough to fit in my vape kit but powerful enough to get the job done.

I received my glass from IBtanked and it looks really good on the chobra the only thing I noticed is the o-rings both the original and the ones sent out to me are really loose fitting on the glass and small amounts of juice leaks from the bottom. I have tried other o-rings from other similar tanks and they are either to big or to small. So I'm going to go look at some o-rings online to find the right size needed. Does anyone know what size of o-ring is on there and can educate me a little more about o-ring sizes????

Did you contact OCD? I am sure he can help you since he knows the glass and o-rings better than anyone.

Here is OCD's response when I told him about the o ring issue:

BA, please send a note through the contact form on the site and let the girls know you need the larger Chobra orings and your address and order number and they will send them right out to you, also be sure to note how many tubes you have. I just checked on mine and I was able to go up to 12.1 x 1.6mm orings and they are nice and tight but not overly much so this will be the size we will ship from here on out.

The offer above applies to anyone who has purchased the Chobra tubes, just please be sure to include the order number so they can reference it.
