Well the AGA-W was a limited run that was only sold in Germany. They have discontinued it. They are so close to having a great atty but things are off on everything Ive tried in an affordable unit. So its only a matter of time before they catch on. I will see if they will listen to any of my advice for making changes. Its worth a try.

It just bugs me that I have to shell out $100+ per to get a decent SS atty.

I still think I'll be happy with the AGA-T.
The T is awesome but like everything that cheap it has its faults. My cap was snug but still ended up leaking, so that cap really needs to be tight. Used a bigger oring but have to use pliers to take the cap off. Then the air hold should be much lower but other then that its works great.

Me to. For now, im playing the waiting game.

Well, it was worth a try on the AGA-W.

Oh, and did I mention that I LIKE the Chobra? My chobras line up and have a nice draw (thanks Striker). I would like the AGA-T if I could get the cap to line up so it wouldn't leak, and get rid of the icky burly stuff and if the draw hole was larger. Those are all things handy people could fix, but I am not so handy. For now I suffer with it for the great vapor I get, but have to wipe it down frequently and am sure I am wasting a lot of juice leaking.

I agree with you on the leaking top cap. Its a PITA. With my larger oring I have to take the cap off with pliers. They have that darn lip in the cap so sanding it down is a no go unless you have a dremel tool to get rid of the lip and sand the tank. Sanding would also be hard cause the metal is really thick. Just dont see a whole lot of good in that cap. Everything else is perfect but they said the issues with the top caps are going to be fixed. So I will take another look at it in a couple weeks.

I can't tighten the top to line up the hole, so it just oozes. Well, that and the stupid fill hole is a screw and I don't want to keep a screwdriver handy for filling so leave it out. My little hex won't work, and I have enough crap in my space without adding a screwdriver to the mix. I leave the screw out of the chobra, but the hole is much smaller, the cap is tighter so it doesn't ooze.

When the hole does not line up and you leave the cap loose so it does line up. This causes a leak from the top cap. They use a pretty big Oring so it turns into a luck of the draw kinda deal. Mine was only 1/4 turn off and took a while for any leaks to show up. As the oring broke in it got a little smaller and would leak about 2 drops a day on mine.
How is the juice leaking from the AGA-T?

Wonder if it would slow your leak to add another wick in the fill hole. No tools needed that way. Worth a shot.

Hey Striker, for what's it worth I got my T's air holes lined up great. I used a 8 x 10 glass pane out of an old picture frame and taped down some wet and dry sand paper. The glass surface is a perfect flat surface to use and by graduating 320 to 400 t0 600 grit I got both my AGA-T's air holes perfectly lined up. Just takes a bit because of the hardness of the SS but worked for me without the need to go big with orings. :)

At this moment im not sure if im going to do anymore coops, but you never know. If I do any AGA's at all I am going to need samples. They make it hard to mod if them holes don't line up.

Good idea. How far off was your hole? Mine is 90 degrees past the wick.

Maybe a toothpick? Then I wouldn't have to worry about wicking any juice up into the top... hmmm....

ETA: broke off a toothpick and stuck it in. Lets see if I taste any "wood" in my juice. It doesn't totally plug it, but I think anything is better than an open hole unless the juice rides up the wood. But it would ride up a wick even more I would think...

Yeah, that's quite a ways. Mine were on the home side of 180 ... but still doable. It took me about 20-30 minutes but a little water and the wet n dry did the trick and left a very flat smooth sealed surface. Might wanna try a courser grit to start and knock down about 3/4 of that distance and then go up in grit as you approach the wick to finish it off smooth.

ya it is further then yours was. I take it that you didnt have to remove that inner lip that was meant to hold the oring or seal to the oring?

Dual wick/coil Chobra. dual 4/5 32 ga Kanthal coils for a total of .9Ω. Stock wicks. This thing is amazing. It is every bit as good as the original Cobra. Vaping like a beast. It's just too bad that the wicks are touching brass where they pass thru the holes. I prob will only vape 1 tank as not to consume too much lead.:)

Here is my Atty stand/coil maker. It works great. It can be picked up to turn when wrapping a coil around a drill bit or allen key. It's small enough to handle and gives a little more to hold onto to really torque the wires around the bit.

So this setup is insane. This is the 3rd dual wick genny I have used. The other 2 were the Cobra and bliss. The bliss was far and away the best, having dual air holes lining up with each wick. Well this Chobra is every bit as good. I have 2 diff top caps. 1 is stock and the other is modded for the Pyrex tube wick mod. It has a 2nd air hole in the top slant of the cap directly above the original wick. The vapor production w the modded cap is crazy. I can vape a whole tank in under an hour. I am on the 4th tank and I slept 7 hrs. last night. Last night I kept going to spit out juice after I would draw on it. After about 3 or 4 times I realized it was just extreme flavor and not juice in my mouth. I even stuck a Q tip in the drip tip to confirm I wasn't losing my mind. :)
I'm going to drill out my DID so I can vape this without worrying about consuming lead.
I am so glad I bought 3 of these so I could sacrifice 1 for the cause.
