Prue Talbot is the leader of the ANTZ pseudo-scientific fear machine. I would be very skeptical about anything her group has done and published, especially on an open platform with no peer review like PLOSone. This has all the markings of junk science plastered all over it.

Yeah, I didn't know that but though putting it on here would get some smart guys like you looking in to it.

I guess they are learning that just repeating "antifreeze" wasn't getting them anywhere. I would guess we will see much more sophisticated attacks like this in the future....

Also, I had my suspicions when they stated they found chromium - and then mentioned CR(IV). I thought that if they thought there could be CR(IV) there, they should have identified it, and based on our thread, I suspect they couldn't find it from a cartomizer.

For real. My father-in-law constantly says "I hear those e-cigs are bad for you".... He never once said anything when we (Wife and I) smoked. Gets really annoying. I would have NEVER thought after the crazy side effects of Chantix, etc that folks would trash talk e-cigs like this.

Lets test the air on Times Square, and measure the particles, I bet it's worse !
Times Square certainly smells worse, I can tell you that. It's better now that they've blocked half of the vehicular traffic. They found some not-so-good stuff in the air from New Jersey that gets blown across Manhattan, though.

I remember when my brother came to visit me in Manhattan. He wore white shirts. By the end of the day his shirt was covered in soot. That was back in the 80's.
Yes, it's still the same. I never wear white....or sandals (when you take them off, your feet are clean where the straps were...eeewww).
