Well im (and the GF) who have both smoked for approx 20 years are on day 15 off the analogs which is worth its weight in gold but im upto £160 spent in that time!

To be fair ive got the father in law some stuff and will be giving him his stuff in the next day or 2 so I could say about £30ish is for him.

I know its not a big favourite around here but I got the Jacvapour starter kit and its worked for me so far and I dont want to change to more advanced stuff until I know im safe too!

Its a hit originally....but im thinking im set up now for a bit...4 batteries, chargers, loads of tanks and juice...and enough to get the father in law going.

I used to spend about £100 on analogs a month so hopefully if this lot lasts me even 1 1/2 months ill be even!

How much did you spend in the 1st month on vaping?

So far ive bought (approx prices) -

[h=2]Crystal Mini Vgo2 Manual 400mah Starter Kit £40[/h][h=2]Vgo2 VV (Variable Voltage) Manual Starter Kit 900mah £54[/h][h=2]Blank Crystal Vgo Tanks (Long Wick) x2 £10[/h][h=2]Re-buildable Nova Tanks for the Vgo2 x 2 £20[/h][h=2]Re-buildable VOX bottom coil tanks for the Vgo2 x 2 £10
Juice £28 (got about 100ml+ of the stuff now)
Total £162 approx[/h]

Congrats to you and your GF on 5 days m00sey
My first month I spent $200 but I only had 1 Mech Mod. It was the following month that hit me hard as I bought stuff for DIY juice. My advice is either think about DIY or keep your eyes open for sales.
Realize also some of your gear is rebuildable. You could even go a step further and actually rebuild the Vivi Nova heads inexpensively with kanthal wire and cotton or silica wick- need a digital multi tester to test the ohms.
Cheers and thanks for the update.

Sounds like you're off to a good start, and a typical expense....:) Your batteries and toppers should last longer than the 1 1/2 month break even point for you, with resupply of your juice being your ongoing expense.

Regarding your Nova tanks, if you like, they are easily rebuildable Rebuilding a Vivi Nova | VAPE News Magazine
I like these a lot and have been rebuilding three of them for over a year now...:)

I have spent about 80 CAD to start up, I bought an Ego Evod starter kit, 2 tanks, 5 atty's, 2 batteries, and 50ml of assorted juice. Of course, I am waiting for it ALL to come in the mail... Considering I spend 300 CAD (minimum) for a month of analogs, and assuming I enjoy the experience, it's cheap.

I have spent more than I even want to count. I haven't been at this long and I've already upgraded more than once. I keep telling myself that I'm set and won't have to spend money on anything but juice...and then I find something I NEED.

BUT I know the obsession will die down a bit and it's still better than putting all of that crap into my lungs!

I spent £480 in the first 6 months. £200-£250 was invested in "kit".

Then I realised I was in this for good, so added more interesting stuff to my collection.

I did the first month on £39.99, four or five new clearomisers (£20) and about a dozen juices. (£50)

Yes, so about £110-£120.

(We'll not talk about my initial "period" using E-Lites).

So I'm just about hitting 1 month off the stinkies.

From my sig, I've saved roughly 190$. As for what I've spent already, it's over $300. My wife is furious since I convinced her to let me start vaping because "it will save us money" lol. So for now I'm holding off on buying anymore stuff (Besides juice) until we even out. Which is easier said than done lol.

By the way, stay away from the Classified section of ECF. The Classies are really tough on your wallet.

"Ooooh, this is such a good deal! How can I pass this up!??!"

Oh lord, YES, this ^^.

The classified section is my downfall. Most recent purchase is a Hypertank. If I had it my way, I would have purchased $1,000+ from that section. Good thing I didn't want the wife any more mad than she is

*shameful secret time*

Sometimes I have vape mail sent to my office so my husband doesn't realize how much I've bought

California Alert!

I have been forced to spend a fortune this month. Just stocking up on DIY and backup hardware.

Problem is there is a new law in the mill which would outlaw internet ecig purchases from being mailed into the state.

That would leave me at the mercy of the local B&M and they will certainly enjoy that.

It appears this law is nearly certain to pass this time. It was passed before by the legislature but vetoed by a former Governor. The current Governor is on record as supporting it. I believe it is AB 1500, but I have been unable to find the text.

Don't worry too much about the costs in the first few months - you're bound to spend a lot on the kit it takes just to start up with Vaping. At the start, it feels like you're going to end up spending more on Vaping than you did on smoking. The good thing is that it's not going to be the constant; long-term financial forecast. Once you've got your mods and tanks/clearos/carts/whatever sorted, those can last you years (if taken care of properly).

Once you've got all set up, the only ongoing cost is really eliquid and perhaps the occasional upgrade. With a rebuildable, you'll also find that you'll have an ongoing cost of spare heads, but you can cut costs with that too by doing your own. eLiquid can occasionally work out quite expensive if you don't shop around to find the best deals. Remember: once you've got to grips with Vaping, there is plenty of information out there on how to mix your own eliquid (be careful there).

Good luck!
