What are the parts I need to turn a pene into dripmode....cant find the thread but promise I'll save the info this time.

It's just a penelope base + ody drip mode cone.
You take off the tank and mouthpiece of the penelope and screw on an ody drip mode cone.

the ob - not in brass just SS, but should look nice. You can always substitute the old style 4 in 1 cap for the connector, collection tank, control ring, and lid, for an older style GGTS. That is what I am going for, hopefully I get paid in time.
so if I am receiving a all SS unit, and additionally want to create a all (with the pieces being made) brass unit, I would order the above which would essentially be a entire unit, but purchased in the individual pieces correct?
Wow that was confusing even to me. What I am trying to ask is that are there any pieces from the one I am getting that I will have so that I do not need to purchase them extra.

3) brass venting bottom
4) brass connector

If I am going to end up with two when all is said and done, and want to create the most options out of the two devices with combinations of brass and SS, what would one need to do that? There might be too many possible options. I would like to end up with one that is ends up being as close to entirely brass as I can. I just do not want to buy pieces that are totally unnecessary.
lastly, is the limited brass 4 in one the thing imeo said he did not want to make? why is this item so limited?

Purdy much. The ones we're receiving should be all stainless steel with the exception of some innards. One aluminum piece. Now I could be wrong in my assumption, but I'm guessing you could probably get it coated somewhere and get the look you like. I've seen a couple gold plated GGs out there (little too blingy for me) and I'm not sure how much that really costs, but I've heard some skilled guys can make sure you still keep your engraving and all.
Again- could be wrong. Could be mental expensive to do all that, or it could save you some cash. Either way, I have no experience with it and can't say whether or not it will hurt it. Paint, on the other hand, I've read can mess with the conductivity if you get the threads so that may not be wise.
At some point I figure I may get some type of vinyl decals as some users have done. Couple carbon fiber wrapped GGs looked pretty nice and protects the outside from scratches. Lotsa options to get a different look that may save you some cash if you're not too picky =P

I dread doing this but I'm quoting myself and hoping someone can answer these questions for me. I want to get my pre order done and need to figure this out.
Also, what is the story with the limited 4 in 1 cap that is being made? Why is it limited? What makes it different?

This would make make what looks like a Revision 1 GGTS. Google pictures of a revision 1 GGTS. He's only making a limited amount because they are the old items so he doesn't want to make a whole bunch. Perhaps he has other reasons, I don't know.
If you don't want the old style cap you would substitute brass 4 in 1 connector with the stainless steel connector with insides(Advance Sale - GGTS Full Connector with Collector Tank) you could also add the 7mm brass ring to replace the stainless one on that top.

If you have a SSGGTS coming, it will not contain and of the brass parts, it will be all SS. The list you have there plus the SS Collection tank, the Brass 4in1, and the brass lid in either 901 or 801 will give you all the brass pieces.
Looks like the brass connector and the 801 lid are no longer up.
As to why the Brass 4in1 is limited you would have to ask Imeo about that.
