y not just use the cellphone battery it is 3.7v and most are pretty good mah i have 2 Samsung batt's soldered together to test my mods with they make a nice 5v pack(well 7.4v with a 5v regulator) with about 2500 to 2700 mah

Because it's a vv mod (the pot is below the display) and is adjustable up to 7.4volts? It'd require a booster to go UP from a cell phone battery.

Thanks for the comments guys, volts and mAh are only 2 of the 3 criteria for a good mod batt...cell batts don't have the "C" rating (how much current the batt can pass) that we need to vape effectively.

Please excuse the use of the MV linear reg, I keep meaning to swap it out with an OKR 6...but too many mods, too little time...

.

should be thanking you.

ok so stock thin cells are too weak. how about one of those battery cases for an iphone? wraps and powers the phone .. but modded with external 510 instead of usb mini port.

About all you can do is see if the spec's of whatever batt is in there is on-line and see...batt spec sheets can make you dizzy but I'd hate to see you trash that wrap then find out that it barely fires a single coil, or even worse, gets so hot trying that even though it sucks at firing an atty, it's very effective at cooking your phone

I like the look of the Cube, especially the brushed/non-glossy finish. How the button on it? IIRC there's no master off switch so if dropped into a pocket how likely is the button to fire?

i'm a fan of the bottom button. to me it's a very natural motion. but i've seen a lot of folks pass for that reason. on the minicube it screws in easily and locks to prevent firing in your pocket.

i really like the polished look, but igetcha69 and others prefer the sand art finish. depends how much you enjoy polishing i guess. and apparently there's some limited edition hex minicubes out there. if you ever see one for sale i would snag it for sure.

I like stealth pv more than long and big pv. Even if the battery life is shorter.
There's a lot more to it than just battery life. How about performance?

Here's one of my single cell only stealth mods. that's a 3" RS box.

That's volts under load, with a 2.6Ω CE2, and it pretty much stays there for about 4 ml of liquid.

I love your attention to "zero" internal res. Willy, the only way I'm going to best you is to construct my next mod out of yttrium barium copper oxide and submerge it in a container of liquid nitrogen.

U need to put a kick in there bro haha

... Here's a teaser pic of the Kick inside a P+ 18650. For those who don't know, the kick is approximately 15mm long. By replacing your 18650 battery with an IMR 18490 you can place the Kick on top of your batteries postive post and convert it to a variable wattage device:

this is a good catch. thanks urq.
