Steampunk Sparkplug

I am all for new products.
What I am not all for is someone or company coming out of the blue targeting a well known supplier in their adverts.
I saw the ad in the ECF of all places.

I have not ordered from Cash or Casey but I hear they are great. The interactions I have had with them were fast and professional.

Just a mini vent and I really hope this is a real device not a fly by night get your money scam.
I did look it over and noticed its an T-1 knock off on a 901 or 801 atty set up no adaptors. possible 6v only.

Until I see a seasoned review from a mod hound or a vape vet, I would not touch it. But that is me personally.

I just saw the ad today. It does look good though with lifetime warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee. Seems that would be nice as there are always so many PV's for sale after a week or two, like a lot of prodigy and SD for sale after only a couple weeks use. I still think they are all overpriced for what you get though. Someone needs to come in with the 29 or 39 dollar nice looking and working PV (battery holder/switch) and take the market....

is that price with shipping... he he

they are made and marketed in the west.. they cost more than something made and marketed by the chinese.. the end result of this wont be pretty.. no more Steampunk Sparkplugs.. SDs.. Prodigies.. Chucks.. GGs.. T-1s.. Silver Bullets.. sorry if i have missed any.. but long live them all.. perhaps the last of a breed..

basically we are talking the end of western industry cos none of us can resists chinese cheap prices.. the only sad thing is no way on this planet can we compete with em.. which of course means there can only be one end conclusion.. and it shouldnt take a rocket scientist to work out what that conclusion is.. :)

I don't like the chinese stuff. I would much rather pay more for American made. I'm not looking for cheap, just good.

well, I am recieving one for testing soon. Ill be putting up a review a week after i recieve it. the owners have actually put up a contest, had 5 winners which will test the SP2, Im one of those 5 and have interacted a few times on ECF. Their press release does look a lil shady, I think thier marketing person needs work, to say the least but time will tell.

I wont knock it til I try it, and Im going to give an unbiased, honest review. I have asked several questions via mcdonaldwebb.com and got a respponse in record time.
So far, so good! Lets see how the product is and customer service is before we judge, here!

Just because they are new, doesnt condemn them! They are just starting up and seem like fair, honest people so far!

I know youtubecommercial, here on ECF ordered one herself before the contest, she may already have it even! Maybe shell chime in here soon?

But yeah, so far my opinion is they are good peeps....oh yeah, its only 3.7v, they dont want big, they said they were going for something long lasting, and that was small. 801 bc they hear it lasts the longest! See?!?! lookin out for US! ;)

But you are using a chinese atomizer with a chinese cartidge. The battery holder/switch is the easy almost foolproof part.

I do believe anyone can compete, if we can take a $2.50 flashlight, a $1.29 switch, and a $4.00 atomizer/bat connector and build a 'magnum' mod in 15 minutes and sell it for $75 bucks or so, Why do all the other "PV's" whether modded like the SD or 'homebuilt' like a few still cost $100 +? Still a very low material cost per unit in any of them. I think the market (us buying and using them) will eventually drive the price down, or the chinese will come out with the cheap ones and take over. Guess that is why the 'mods' are so big on here, cause you can build a laser mod like cisco designed for a few bucks, or a shack battery box mod for a few that will do anything any of the 'namebrand' PV's will.

at least that is one man's opinion.......

That's right home built, straight and easy. Like the Chuck, the Sparkplug, etc. Much cheaper to start with a 1.00 piece of aluminum than starting with a 16.00 flashlight. All we really need or want is something easy to hold and durable and cheap, guess that is why the magnum mods are so abundant.

Mooby, can't find your review of the sparkplug, could you post a link? I tried your other link at the beginning but didn't bring me to the sparkplug.

Indeed it is a knock off of a superior manufacturers product

>

'Tis said; "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery".

However, statements like; "months of testing and developing", "all of the product is 100% made in the USA" (until challenged on the atomizer's origin) is not flattery at all. It's despicable and shameless fraud all designed to line the pockets of McDonald-Webb while stealing another man's concept.

Even the name "steampunk" a term coined by an ECF member in regard to a Super T product was stolen along with the product design.

Ya know, there's one thing that no one can deny and that is that PV users are among the smartest shoppers in any market. Super T's ST2 is TWICE the quality of the "SP2" and selling for HALF the price. Talk about your no-brainer purchasing decisions...
