I just keep them in a dark place, caps on - a cabinet or drawer, etc. Right now I am using a cheap toolbox from Walmart. I was previously using an old purse with zippered compartments. Be sure whatever you use is out of the reach of children and pets.

Be sure to shake the bottle well before filling or topping off your tank or carto, and drink plenty of water.

There are a lot of factors for how long a flavor needs to steep. First is the viscosity of the ingredients. Generally a juice higher in PG than VG will steep faster. The second factor is the number of / type of flavorings used. The more flavorings the longer it will take and some richer flavors (usually the very dark eliquids) can take longer to steep. I would say average is two weeks however some juices can take 2 months to reach fully steeped.

There's a couple of things that happen when you steep. One is boiling off or evaporating volatiles like alcohol, but alcohol isn't the only volatile in flavorings. The other is mixing or emulsification of the flavors into the glycols. I think having the caps off is important to get rid of the volatiles. Agitation is important for the other. Heat can accelerate both. Light can degrade nicotine, but I think experimentation shows that it's very slow.

If they have a Chem taste or smell, you can leave the cap of for a day. Other than that, take it from someone who has tried many different methods, many. They are ready when they are ready. 2 weeks min usually, but not gospel. Dark cool location, not the fridge.

The guy in the video is a bit too chatty, but what he is saying is true. There are many methods, and I would recommend his method as the optimal one. Sonic cleaners don't work despite the claims to the contrary.

My one other recommendation, and I need to build one myself, is a shake table or other device to shake liquid.

Agitation is a must to both mix and ferment juice. You don't have to kill it with agitation, but it will save your arms. Cause generally you do need to do it for a good 5 to 10 min each, times how many bottles you have.

Those tiny bubbles are key
