Steeping

I've thought of an idea for steeping and was wondering if anyone has tried it yet. My idea is to steep the juice in a wide mouthed container like a shot glass or baby food container with a piece of coffee filter rubber banded over the top. The theory is it would allow the volatile compounds escape more readily and the coffee filter keeps out any unwanted,,,,,,,,,,,,debris.

You definitely will have some nicotine oxidation and (may be) some flavors behaving unexpectedably. But who knows? You may have something worthy...

I steep my juices without nic in case they turn out tasting like s**t. At 3% nic level it doesn't change the flavor that much.

I do DIY and will steep all my mixes, but don't take the lid off for steeping unless I use something that has alcohol in it, or have a flavoring that is overbearing. That said, I will steep those exactly that way for a few days, changing the filter every day (mostly because I tend to rip it) when I remove it to shake the juice
