Did you blow it out and let it dry first ??

well the attys seem fine now and they are firing but seems as if the spring is faulty

It hasn't happened to me (knock on wood) but I think when the spring collapses, you have to stretch it out in order to get the battery to push up against the delrin that houses the firing pin. What battery are you using?

Rob has springs on his site, they are easily replaced on his metal mods, even I can do it.

i use the red aw imr's and the regular ultrafire's. on the aw imr's the battery was a little loose cause the a little smaller than the ultrafires but now it falls out with the door off.

If the spring has collapsed, you had a short. You can replace the spring, but if you can't figure out what caused the short, then you should send it into Rob.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure your spring has collapsed. Your best solution is to send the Mini with the atty to Rob for a check up. Or you could order a replacement spring and replace it yourself.

There are several Minis available on his site right now if you ever considered having a back up.
