Well, what do you think? Given the recent forces attacking our PVs, should we be stocking up on juice or should we stock up on batteries and atomizers?
Seems the batteries and atomizers will always be available in some way as electronics but the nic liquid supply will be what's immediately threatened.
What are you stocking up on or intending to stock up on?

Wife has 10-Joye 510 XL batteries, 16-Joye 510 atomizers, 400 ml of her Candy Cane liquid, a 10 battery charger, and bunches of Fluval filled carts. I have 4-Janty eGo batteries, 2-eGo atomizers, 300 ml of various tobacco liquids; two fast chargers, and the same carts. Think I need to build my eGo atty and battery collection. Maybe a few hundred more ml of liquid.

If you are worried about a ban then you should be stocking up on super high strength flavorless nicotine liquid, like 100mg/ml or better.

They will have a hell of a time banning: Batteries, PG, VG, and lorAnns candy flavorings.
So I wouldn't worry about those.

You can expect to see E-cigs sold with labels that say "not for nicotine use".
You also expect to see 0mg flavored liquids for sale still.

Its the nicotine liquid that they can and will control.

Soon as nicotine liquid is officially deemed a tobacco product PACT act will shut down the entire mail order e-liquid business.

So how much should you buy?
One 30ml of 100mg will make you 187ml of 16mg juice.
So 2 30ml bottles will last you a year (if you vape 1ml a day).
Shelf life on E-liquid is 2 years.
So If you buy 4 30ml bottles that would cover your needs for 2 years.
If you vape more than 1ml a day or a higher strength, adjust amount accordingly.

Currently I have 1100ml of 24MG+ flavored E-liquid and 60ml of unopened 100mg flavorless liquid.

I am preparing my must-have list as we speak...I am also curious about ordering hardware from overseas. I have seen several companies like trueman, heaven gifts etc...and wasn't sure about ordering from them. Does anyone know if there have been confiscation issues on smaller shipments of hardware coming from China??

I have 5 510 kits
2 V4L kits
1 GG Slim
1 Super T Precise

and a FAIR whack of liquids.

BUT, here's the sticking point guys, how long will our LIQUIDS be good for? I'd love to order a LOT more to stock up with, but what about the 'shelf life'? I'd hate to think I was prepared for 'nuclear winter' only to realize that my liquids have 'turned'!!

We need to figure out whether or not they can be FROZEN without harming the finished product. Anyone tried it? Vendors? ANYONE?

I've never had anything confiscated... and I've had several orders come in from China... Heaven-Gifts, E Cig Mart, and a few others.

Just keep your orders small.... Like 10 bottles of juice, a dozen attys at a time and you won't have a problem.

Would we be allowed to buy overseas? Shipments are being confiscated now or are small orders being allowed to pass through?

As a practical matter, they can't stop small orders from getting through. What would happen is that U.S. resellers of the hardware would be out of business, because they get large shipments wholesale. But small orders from overseas are another matter. As they government cannot stop them, that will depend only on the willingness of the foreign sellers to sell to U.S. customers. However, consider the situation with prescription drugs. People can and do order drugs, even dangerous ones like Vicodin, off the internet all the time. It isn't legal, but the government can't stop it either. However, with e-cigs I suspect a ban would be on sale, not purchase or possession, meaning that if we order from overseas, WE wouldn't be breaking the law. Still, the situation would not be ideal at all. For one thing, I suspect the prices would go way up. For another, I think you could forget about the U.S. made juices.

I really, really hope it does not come to this. I'm just pointing out what I think will be the practical situation if the worst does happen.

That, and the name will have to change. If they ban it, they will ban the product specifically called an "e-cig." Much like drug paraphernalia at a tobacco shop, it's all in what you call it. You can't legally buy a ...., but you can buy a "water pipe" pretty much anywhere within the U.S..

It doesn't matter what it is...from overseas your chances of hang ups at customs is well over 50% lately..as posted in many threads, I wasn't ordering overseas because of that, but now if I don't stock up I guess I/We will now have to be forced to take our chances if thats what we have to do...really sucks...help out with posting on the special sites for NY's government, because if this ban goes through in NY, it will ripple out to other states .........

Reports say consumers are now losing packages. Shipments without any juice are being stopped. One person was told by the FDA that if it has anything to do with e-cigs it's not getting through, they're not making any designations. Flavorings are of course safe and can be bought at craft stores so stock up on unflavored nic juice which can be kept in the fridge and atomizers/cartomizers. Mods are becoming readily available in country. I am guessing we have at least 5 months until we know anything for certain.
