General consensus in the forums is that nic juice will last two years in a cool, dark place. They also say freezing is NOT the way to store. All of ours is in a cardboard box in our cool, dry and dark basement.

I just thought of something. I think you can buy a relatively cheap, non industrial shrink rap machine? You could shrink rap the bottles. That should help keep the air away from the liquid and extend its lifespan.

It's official, my first international order has been placed...I'm keeping my fingies crossed it doesn't get snatched up. Just bought, atty's batteries and some empty cartos...:nun:

In the meantime I will continue to write, call and visit anyone I think may be of influence regarding the banning of our beloved.

Reports say consumers are now losing packages. Shipments without any juice are being stopped. One person was told by the FDA that if it has anything to do with e-cigs it's not getting through, they're not making any designations. Flavorings are of course safe and can be bought at craft stores so stock up on unflavored nic juice which can be kept in the fridge and atomizers/cartomizers. Mods are becoming readily available in country. I am guessing we have at least 5 months until we know anything for certain.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head, bro. Air = oxidation = spoilage. I went down to the bottom left corner last week and did a search on the words "stocking up." I came across a thread that said a chemist said PROPER storage of unflavored nic = 4-10 years.

Here's what I think will happen. If it starts to cut into their revenue from cigarette taxes; which it eventually will just like RYO and SYO tobacco both did the feds and the states will ban everything and anything to do with e-cigs. You better learn how to stealth vape because if you get caught using one it will most likely be confiscated.

I have 5 510 kits
2 V4L kits
1 GG Slim
1 Super T Precise

and a FAIR whack of liquids.

BUT, here's the sticking point guys, how long will our LIQUIDS be good for? I'd love to order a LOT more to stock up with, but what about the 'shelf life'? I'd hate to think I was prepared for 'nuclear winter' only to realize that my liquids have 'turned'!!

We need to figure out whether or not they can be FROZEN without harming the finished product. Anyone tried it? Vendors? ANYONE?

What do you best comparing the GG & Precise, Domino. I'm thinking on buying the Precise, but I hear the GG is also a good call.

No Not shrink wrap, get one of these food storage systems that has the bags and the machine that sucks all the air out of them. A vacuum sealer system.

They will have dogs stationed on every street corner that can smell PG and VG and if they signal that you smell like either one of these things they will taser you!

This reminds me of the conversation I had with the IRS agent that audited me.

I said "you can't do that"
She said "there's only one thing we can't do to you"
I said "what's that"
She said " she said we can stick an umbrella up your rear end but we can't open it.

You know that only applied to 2 companies and it was overturned by appeals court this month, right?

Was not aware of that, what are the specifics on that? Has the FDA been given free reign on ecig imports?

disregard
Appeals Court Stays E-Cigarette Ruling // Leaves FDA Free to Block Imports Again

That's an issue... It doesn't concern anyone that the government is wasting it's resources on blocking VAPOR of all things while they can't even stop (or maybe don't want to stop) any of the illegal shipments of drugs? How is it the country is overwhelmed with imported drugs, yet our government has the resources and time to concern themselves with essentially what is water vapor?

My apologies btw, didn't realize I was posting an article written by Banzhai, I mean Banzhaf, until after the fact. :p The... individual... posts so much on the net, it's hard to find an e-cig article not written by him.

You know, you make a good point antisheep. I'd be very curious to see what kind of contraband gets into the country while they are concentrating on e-cig supplies.

Yes, O2 and various airborne pollutants are likely enemies of long term storage. However, I'm not sure I'd trust shrink rap. The following products do create and maintain a long term vacuum: FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer .For those who buy in bulk from warehouse stores, they're effective at their intended purpose too.

I googled around and you can buy portable shrink wrap machines for about $60, maybe cheaper if I look around more.

I am seriously considering picking one up.
