Quit later. First get on a steady dose, so you’re not freaking out on too much or too little nic, imho. It’s a habit you picked up, not sure it’s that easy to quit. I like vaping as much as I liked smoking, maybe more. You might too, if you don’t make yourself sick. If you have a good rig to vape with, it’s so much better. Doesn’t have to be a $200 mod and $100 tank, either. Just something that works really well. An Aegis mod and a good tank. Maybe an AIO that can take sub and above 1ohm coils as backup.

Yeah, I have a smok, not sure what the mod is.

I could buy a mid range one.
You do you, but keep in mind, just because most people like a Ferrari 458, doesn't mean YOU'D like it better than, say, a Ferrari 360, or not like Ferrari at all, and would prefer a lambo. Just like cars, vapes are personal preference.

I think it's the thinking out loud that is portraying the eratic mentality. If my train of thought were on display, well, I shudder to think... ;).

For what it's worth, from someone who was sucking down 10ml a day of 50mg salts when first switching, I now sub ohm 3 mg, and if I have ANY caffeine in me at all, I can FEEL my aorta. Every time I lower my dose, without fail, with in DAYS I will get a similar effect from HALF as much nic. Tolerance is horrible with nic. Just think what a cup of coffee would feel like if you haven't had any caffeine in a month. It's quite similar.

Sheesh, I had 3mg Naked juice for the first two weeks of quitting. I was going crazy until I got some 6 and 12. I’ve never done 35 or 50, don’t think I could take that much. A squirt of 18 in my tank with my 6mg juice is like a real lot to me.
I quit caffeine and then started drinking it again lately. But I’m not making it the rocket fuel that I usually do. But still, it adds to my stress actually.

When I first tried vaping, in '09, I was using 24mg freebase. Due to the added molecular weight of salts, depending on the molecule used to protonate the nic, the MG to MG comparison gets thrown off. The bio-availability differences throw another variable into the equation too. When I was using 35mg salt, I tried a few different 3mg freebase juices, and they all have me an instant headache.

So maybe the hype is right? I got 6mg salt the first month of my cig kick, and I vaped about 120mls of it in little more than a week, which now is crazy for me. I hardly ever fill up my tank all the way now, anyway. It’s like I just keep adding juice so I don’t dry hit, and to tweak the flavor.

Okay first of all going to the doctor without all the facts is plain stupid. IF you don't have a doctor that is understanding get one. My doc (who herself had thyroid cancer) was willing to look at MY research, do her own, and willing to work with me on decreasing it. Had she not been that way I would have fired her (like the last one.) I don't like docs who won't work with me and that INCLUDES vaping. Although I usually let them listen to my "Lovely and clear" lungs first.

I think you have nic O/D and that is the stomach pain but I don't KNOW. You might have a blown appendix for all I know. I hope it BLOWS (before your little "joke" which I actually believe you will do) as far as letting your friends vape it "with a warning."

Are you trying to NOT have any friends? Why would you do that, even with a warning, even to an enemy. You aren't funny and as far as I'm concerned this thread belongs in "not advisable" which is exactly what I am going to ask for.

You suck.

I agree whole heatedly with you on the bit about finding a reasonable doctor, but that isn't always an option. I know plenty of people that are locked into one practice, as that is the only place their insurance will cover.

As for "not advisable" plenty of stores sell 50mg e-juice. It comes with the warning, for pod use only. I'm sure more than a few slow-minded people out there think it's plenty fine to put that in a DNA Orrion Go,

I'm not trying to be mean, though that's probly not a good idea. I'd rather throw it out.

I have one doctor in network, his name is Weg, no joke. He’s a p-word. I avoid him actually. But that’s me. So I wasn’t trying to tell OP something I don’t do myself.
And why should we distance someone that we might actually help here? It was a half serious convo, in any case, towards the end. His friends are prob vaping Juuls or 50mg pods anyway. Oh well, nice talking to y’all today. Have a good one!

Just 2 cents -

Not that long ago we were super impressed with regulated mods that could fire in the 3-15 watt range. 15 watts? Wow! But... we were also running tanks with tiny +1 ohm coils. Vaping 12mg or 18mg juice was semi-reasonable because that gear put out small amounts of vapor by comparison with today's popular sub-ohm gear.

I strongly agree with the sentiments above. If you are using sub-ohm gear that vaporizes massive amounts of juice, for your own health sake, you need to adjust nicotine dosage down to the 6mg to 3mg range (0mg is a good goal too, but that can come later). Keep in mind those values apply to classic ejuice, aka freebase nicotine.

What has changed is the introduction of nicotine salt. I won't rewrite the changes to nicotine salt, but that type of juice often comes in higher concentrations of nicotine, delivers nicotine into the body quickly, is meant to be vaped at low power, small coil, and the important part... it's meant to be vaped a few puffs at a time, then put it down for a while.

Nicotine poisoning is a real thing. I am convinced vaping is better than smoking, but people still need to use these products wisely. If there is any negative to vaping, it's just that it's all too easy to over vape. With ciggys there is a sort of built-in impediment, my lungs hurt, I am coughing, my mouth tastes like crap, I am going to put the smokes down for a while. With vaping, more of the responsibility is on the user to slow down.

I’m generally not a conspiracy theorist....but, so far, the op has mentioned vaping to look cool, vaping causing stomach pain, vaping for the buzz, addiction and how harmful nicotine is for people....

Sometimes I wish the doors to ECF had a big ol lock on em.

He’s basically everything we’re trying to disassociate ourselves with.
