39 days for me. But I did smoke also when I first started vaping. From 10 packs every 8-9 days down to one pack a week for about 2 weeks then to about 10 +/- cigs every week to just a few, Bummed, to my last cig that didn't taste all that good and the question to myself of "Why the F am I still smoking".

Right now I do not miss it at all. Even when there are people around me that are smoking I have no desire to ask for one or accept one if offered.

But I must say that every now and then my brain will go into "I think I'll have a smoke" mode. Luckily it is a Fleeting Thought and I go to the atomizer.

this sounds like my habit 9 mos. ago with e-cigs. couldn't quit with disposables and the cost was double. i quit the next day after getting pvs for my wife and i. she uses both and i haven't smoked since 12/1/13. asked myself the same question.

21 years of cigarettes ended the day I tried a eGo battery and a T2 tank. Before that, I had only tried the gas station disposables and those never did anything for me. But yeah, once I got something that produced a decent amount of vapor, cigarettes were obsolete to me.

Was in one of the local gas stations today where I used to buy my cigarettes and noticed one of the cashiers hitting his mech mod as soon as I came through the door. I got this guy into vaping less than a month ago and he already has better gear than I do. He's completely off ciggs too.

I smoked for 39 yrs. From the time I started vaping till I laid down the cigarettes completely, took about a month, of really very little effort, other than my first smoke-free morning. That was really the only challenge, that first morning I didn't smoke, but just vaped.

I started smoking at 12 and quit (I believe) for good at 58, just about 13 months ago. I finished a pack that I had left and maybe smoked another cig or two...but quit totally within a couple weeks.

Started with an ego setup, moved to evod batteries and tried all sorts of carto tanks and clearo tanks. I kept having problems with them but I kept at it. My local vape shop helped immensely. I studied the forums, asked a lot of not so bright questions, tried this, tried that and got a Smok ZMax about 2 months in. Then I found Nicoticket juice...my search was over and it has been the mainstay of my vaping ever since. I do vape other juices but always come back to NT.

I am now using my ZMax with a Kayfun and a Reo with reomizer atomizer. These work so well. I don't mind building coils and wicking with cotton. The cost is negligible and the flavor is outstanding. I think it takes about 5 minutes a day at the very tops to keep things clean and working well. One cotton ball may well last me 6 months at the amount needed for all of my drippers (5), my Kayfun and my Reo. Coils? Don't really know. I have been using my own coils for about 6 weeks and none have needed replacing yet.

So, I am done with smokes and could not be happier. Love my juice! Creme Brulee, The Virus, Wakonda, and even Root Beer Float are amazing.

Best of luck in your individual vaping journey and remember the most important thing: every cigarette not smoked is a WIN! Do it your way, use what works for you and have fun doing it! This is not your grandmother's quit!!!
