Strange DT heat problem

I just bought a derlin adapter for my drip tip to prevent heat, and the strange thing is, the Drip Tip still heats up! While the derlin does not. Anyone having the same problem? Solutions? thanks!

Your probably getting a warm vape which will heat both the tank and tip.

If you have a non-metalic drip tip, try it out. Your vape should be a good deal warmer, but the drip tip would not.
