anybody using strap wrenches to undo freeking tight tube rings, bottom/top caps?

i wonder what sizes strap wrenches work best and best deals ... i saw one on Home Depot page that was $31 ! geez...
I'm sure there are cheaper but want to know what sizes to look for for 22mm tubes/caps.

I know, you can try rubber gloves, putting them in the freezer etc... but nope some just need a wrench.
thanks

I use rubber gloves.
Nothing should ever be so tight on any mod that you can't unscrew by hand.
I only have to use rubber gloves on slippery metal pieces.

If you are encountering pieces stuck so tight you can't unscrew them with gloves, you are doing something incorrectly.

I've had tube mods for years, and so far have been able to handle all my issues with rubber gloves but this is not happening with my XXIX copper tube bottom cap... the vendor told me to use strap wrenches.
I don''t think i did anything different as far as tightening it on, but like a lot of tubes, I'm changing out batts every day and with the Neme I don't always take the bottom cap off since it takes longer than the middle connection (650 mode).
The XXIX is a pin less hybrid adapter top cap so i mostly change out batts from the top and now that i need to clean the bottom pin, i cant get the damn thing off.

These are MUCH cheaper...only $4.99....who cares if they are junk tools...I buy all of my vape tools from Harbor freight or northern tool: http://www.harborfreight.com/rubber-strap-wrench-set-2-pc-69373.html

But I agree with everyone is that you shouldn't tighten things so hard you need one. Rubber gloves work wonders for grip

I have had to use strap wrenches. harbor freight is fine for that. just don't buy tools there to work on a vintage Harley or vette. never use a channel lock on a mod if you like the mod. even if a strap marks it you can buff that out. they came that tight from the factory. I never screw them that tight myself. nor should anyone. as far as the nut in the switch. use a vice grips set just snug when you clamp it. unless a socket will fit. never use a pliers because it will slip and trash the thing.
