Seems the older thread is inactive. I recently got a new E7. I love it but I have a question. Given the overall build quality of this mod, I'd expect the button to be more clicky and with less rattle. It seems to move pretty freely and it has a good bit of play. Its a feather touch to fire and there's no tactile feedback. Is this the norm or is it just mine. Thanks folks!

I saw the same reviews but TBH out of the two E7's I have, neither of them have a noticeable rattle and they haven't stuck or auto fired. Both are tactile feeling when pushed.
I love these things! Now just need to pick up a mechanical one and I can ditch the REO for good :D
I too would love to see the old thread opened.
Now what good is an E7 thread without pics?

Funny, I'm extremely picky when it comes to firing mechanisms but have no issues with the SB. I would definitely see about getting yours looked at.
Have you pulled the faceplate to see if everything looks good underneath? Maybe something visible that could be an easy fix?
... and let's see it! :D

Actually, I got mine today, along with a Svapiamo sx350 wooden Squonker and a Chalice v3. The Sunbox E7 is Amazing as is the Svapiamo. Both are excellent devices! The Chalice is a nice atty but I need to get use to it. Tighter airflow than I prefer but great flavor. With the regulated squonkers, it's pretty good because I can build a 1.2 ohm coil and just work the watts but the airflow....just not really diggin the airflow!
Anyway, here's the current bottom feeder family with the exception of a Tmod customs that is currently in transit.View attachment 457241

Oh yea, I do remember seeing that pic earlier. That blue is gorgeous!
I saw a pic over in the SB FB group of that blue with wood furniture and it looked REALLY nice.
I haven't had the chance to purchase a new E7 but I got a killer deal on the silver one since it came with no door or faceplate.
It works well as a place to store my black parts that were replaced by the wood on the black one.
E8...and preferably the Hellfire E8 will be my first NEW Sunbox.

E7 owners may wanna take note..
I left my E7 for about 2 days and it completely drains the battery, well almost, put and the charger and it reads 1.3Vs!! It never happen to my VF b4, one whole wk and it's still on half charge.
I know it's bad practice to leave the batt in, but I do try to rotate the mods but 1 or 2 do get left out sometimes ;)
Could be there's a slight current leak in my, just thought I let u guys know..

So this morning I got vapemail! E8 Odin II arrived :)
The button on this one is indeed quite jiggly. I can sit here and shake the mod and listen to it.
OTOH it is very tactile feeling.
Jiggles aside, this thing is friggin sweet. Perfect size and very nice :D

Congrats! The E8's are really nice. The jiggling got the best of me. I took off the cover and put a tiny dab of super glue on the button pad on the board. A miniscule amount. It made it just enough thicker that the button is perfect now.

Disclaimer.....this could've gone horribly wrong and I'm sure there is a better way. But the button was too loose and you could actually push in and up to make the button stick. Plus, it's an easy board to swap out. I still have 2 extras!

I'll see what I can do tonight about the button. Had to call in late this morning to wait for the UPS guy so I pretty much pulled it out of the box filled it, slapped a battery in it and tossed on a 22mm HF BF atty. Haven't had a chance to really check it out yet.
I'm in the FB group and got lucky when they announced a small run of them and managed to snag one. They released some Odin's and some Squape edition PB7's. They all went pretty quick.

I'll have to get some better pics later but here's a "In the office Handcheck"...

Thanks bro!
Funny thing is I'm not even an Odin fan but it was still a chance to grab a new E8 that I couldn't pass up.
If I don't manage to get one of the Hellfire editions then I will definitely try to get one in that blue of yours. God that blue is sexy!
Hellfire Edition goes up on the Sunbox Tictail store tomorrow
