Wow, this is great info!! This may have already been asked but let's say you have your base of 12 nic @ 50/50 and I want to add blueberry flavoring. Do juices like this need a sweetener? Or are most the floorings sweetened already depending on the juice.

I'm a mixin fool! Thanks again to DH for this thread. My stuff showed up today and like a fool, i ordered 2 small 30ml bottles of base nic to experiment with and they will be gone quick like. So far i noticed different flavors take different percentages. For instance the rasberry is much stronger than the concord grape so you don't need as much with the raspberry. So far I ironed out that im right around a 15% flavor and 5% menthol.. I see what you mean about the artic menthol DH, that's some good stuff especially with the watermelon. One of my fav mixes so far is a raspberry apple, man that's good. I did place an order for larger bottles but this was great to experiment with. I did order a bunch of more flavors too. lol. Right now im working on a strawberry kiwi bubble gum. I read that Loranns oil based isnt such a good thing. I bought a lime flavor for a raspberry lime but wasnt sure if i should use the lime cause it's lime oil. Is that ok to use? I'm gonna need a new atomizer like soon. lol.

My order from cigexpress showed up today and i bought this 1 x Ethyl Maltol (Select Size) (DIYETHYLMALTOL)
Size 20 grams and mixed it with some straight PG. I used 1/4 teaspoon with about 9ml of pg in a 10ml bottle. The main reason i bought sweetener was all the vendor juices i bought seemed like they needed sweetener but now that i have it mixed, i havent had a chance to play around with it. It tases great, just like cotton candy and i can see you wont need but a drop or 2 for a 10ml bottle of juice. I copied this from their site..

Ethyl Maltol
A crystal powder which has the taste of sugar/caramel/cotton candy.


Ethyl Maltol is a very pleasant smelling chemical that is used as a flavorant for the food, beverage, tobacco, and fragrance industry.

Ethyl Maltol sweetens flavors in liquid.

Suggested use: Dissolve 1 gram ethyl maltol in 9ml of propylene glycol. TIP: Warm the propylene glycol in the microwave, then add ethyl maltol powder to the warm propylene glycol.

Diluted mixture can then be added to your liquid. Start with one or two drops per 6ml of liquid. Add more or less to suit your taste.

Solubility
alcohol, 12%
propylene glycol, 5.5%

p.s. i didnt warm it in the microwave, i just mixed it together and threw the bottle in a cup of warm water and it dissolved in 10 minutes or so

same here, all the ones i mixed i havent added any sweetener. what a difference buying diy flavors compared to vendors pre mixed. seems like all the juice i bought dosent have enough flavor or they need sweetener. I wonder what brand of flavor all these big vendors use. I doubt its Loranns or Flavor Arts.

Just placed a similar order...tired of waiting for this referral code...I think they're just tryin to placate me and have no intentions of actually updating their site or sendin me a code lol...whatever we'll see, def been over a week by now. anyway...

wildcherry + royal + ozone + arctic ice (+ hypno mist + oba oba)
chocolate hazelnut + bavarian cream + cookie + tobacco or something else thats not sweet


if ya wanna get nutty about it:
gummy bear + arctic ice + oba oba + hypno + wild cherry + ozone + royal + tiny bit liquid amber + oakwood (should balance out...)

oakwood goes w/ any tobacco flavor, oba oba goes w/ anything btw.

if u list everything u have for me i'll give u some zany concoctions to try, like 8-10 flavors. they go about 5/10 are awesome, 3/10 are decent, 2/10 u must be drunk to vape. if ya want...

Thanks for the easy method! I am soon to venture into DIY since I ordered some nic base to stock up inspired by another thread on the forum about preparing for a vape apocalypse due to regulations etc. Does anyone order directly from the FlavourArt website? Other sites that sell their flavors seem to be out of stock on quite a few of them.

lol true... someone in this thread i think said not to order directly from them, don't remember the reason but it seems like unless ur ordering in bulk the shipping costs/wait time wouldn't be worth it. ecx will get new stock in at some point.
