I Recently bought another ELA and also run into some people who have aquired some ELA and other wonderful Super T Manufacturing mods.

I know that Super T Manufacturing is no longer in business but Im sure there are still a few that own them and might pick something up in the future.

I know that all the other old threads are still around in the archives but, I thought that maybe a thread in the Mechs section might be good for all that might have questions.

Also with the fact that spare parts, accessories etc are not something one can just buy, this might be a good place for resources on parts that can be found : springs, Oring sizes-resources etc. Some might even have found someplace that can make up parts or other compatible parts.

I used to hang out on the Super T threads and made some great friends. I miss that place and all the great people. I know many have moved on, sold or have their Super T gear in storage, but it might be fun to have a place to show off , chat and share info.

I sold my ELAs a long time ago, and recently got another one and Im in love all over again.
I was lucky enough to get some extras, switches, springs, compression bands, but I know at least one other person who bought one also and loves his to death and Im sure someday might need parts.

Maybe we can pool parts, accessories etc. If anyone has spares that they know might never use we can direct each other to good sources. I have one family member that owns a few CNC machines and am going to see what sort of reaction we get from this thread. If we get enough interest I might be able to beg him to make some parts or if any of you know anyone , maybe you can beg for limited run parts?

Just in case anyone has a problem finding the archived threads here is a link:

I have 3 SuperT mods.
They are nice and all, but the SuperT story should serve as an eye opener.

Once regarded as one of the better companies, with solid customer support and a LIFETIME warranty, they dropped vapers like a hot rock, and left their clients high and dry.
( they are still in business, just not the vape business)
Remember this when you drop your hard earned cash on a mod expecting customer support.

Your comment is... confusing? Are you saying we shouldn't spend our hard-earned cash on a product because there is the potential that the manufacturer might change their business model or even close up shop at an undetermined date that we won't know until it happens? I don't see why this is such an eye opening example when it happens all the time across many industries.

I have quite a few Super T mods and thankfully, have had no problems with any of them. I'm also confident I've purchased enough parts that I can fix any minor issues that might crop up over time. I don't know if I'd be willing to part with any of them though, because you never know when something might go wrong. ;)

I got an 18500 super t workhorse...three of these washers in the switch make it perfect for me! If you have a protruding center pin on your RDA, you might want to use two.

Warranties from mod manufacturers mean very little and shouldnt be a deciding factor in purchasing.

Most companies havent been around long enough to have a track record so their word means nothing.
Even established shops that have outside business (SuperT) arent solid when it comes to warrany issues.

Fasttech has better support.

Fact: SuperT turned their backs on their customers. I am one of them.

This thread was not meant as a "go get one" or "super T is the best" etc. I understand how you feel BadNinja, so I understand you disappointment or anger.

This thread was meant as a place that those that have Super T devices or maybe have bought one in the classifieds can come and learn, share photos, share information and support each other since there is no other place.

Even the FB page seems dead and I tried to join, but no one seems to be running it. Only old posts and kinda sad posts from a few people trying to get help but no one responds. I wanted to help out but for some reason Im not in the group anymore and cant get back on.

Its not a "lets rip on Super T" thread, yes you can criticize but let get this to be a help page. A place where owners and fans can come to help each other.

PS. I also felt like you did, anger , disappointment, but what happened , happened and I was hoping we could make THIS our self support and help place.

I had a person contact me for information and help because he recently got one in the classifieds, he is in love. I also got the opportunity to get an ELA again so its kinda nice to have a fellow fan.

I think my history here shows Im open to help members here any way I can.

However, this industry is crazy with internet hype. It causes lots of problems.
I like facts.

SuperT made decent mechs.
I own several and they are okay.

Fit and finish is acceptable and they function as expected.

They have their quirks.

Im happy to answer any questions about any of them.

Thats exactly what I was thinking when I saw your post.

From what Ive seen you are a person that is very intelligent and helpful. You are somewhat of a "celebrity" here from way back. You are a great resource in vaping information. Im sure like all things you are involved in your input will be priceless and very much appreciated.

I got into the Super T family late in the game. I kept lusting after them , but thought Id never be able to own any. Things worked out right before Christmas that year that the ELA was announced and jumped in to get one. I had always wanted one of the Precise 18500s and never got a chance, so the ELA was my first Super T. I had heard of the reputation they had , the lifetime warranty and dedication to producing beautifully designed devices.

Its a shame that they are no longer around to produce new items, and it would be nice for them to offer support, but from what little I know about running CNC based businesses , every moment the machine is not running, they are losing money. To program a machine for specific parts , you have to bring in a programmer to do it. Very few machine shops happen to have someone there that can is skilled in entering the commands.

I know that once a program or instructions on a part is in the hard drive they can bring it up at anytime, so unless they sold that machine all the specs should be stored. I wish they would do short runs for their customers , maybe once a year?

Anyway, I hope this gets busy with lots of input from fellow owners.

Guess no one is going to contribute or share or even cares .... I was going to close it, but I guess I cant.

It's possible that forcedfuel made such good devices no one needs any parts. :D I have some of his original drip tips in 901/510 and 801 sizes and a super6, but don't use it anymore. It's a 901 and couldn't get a 510 from him after he stopped making that model. Still works though. :)

There really arent any resources or new information on SuperT.
They left us high and dry.
We didnt leave them.

I know that the customers did not leave... I just thought since their forum closed and there IS no resources, that we, who still own can be our own support and help.

We are all going to need something, a part, some delrin and oring and if we can keep a resource page for anyone that needs that info it can be here?

I know there are manufacturers or modders that can replicate parts or people that are crafty and inventive that can make parts like the positive post etc for themselves, but maybe they can make some extra parts and we as buyers can sign that we buy at our own risk ?

If anyone is friendly with people like Satburn? Maybe he can replicate certain parts and put a short run every once in a while?

I know this wasn't the purpose of the thread, but I was just curios about something. If the company is still in business, but are no longer making mods and offered a lifetime warranty on their mods, aren't they required to still honor the warranty?

I think they changed the name of the business.

Even if they changed names one would think theyd at least honor some sort of warranty?

For many that got the ELA or the newer devices, it WAS the lifetime warranty that made us justify the price, wait and other little quirks , especially on the ELA.

I had been lusting after the Precise Plus for so long, but kept putting it off, and then there was the diameter (20mm ?) which was too slim for the atty I loved at the time which was 23mm.

The people that operated SuperTManufacturing owned a successful machine shop.

They formed SuperT to make and sell mods.
They shuttered SuperT and dropped all the warranty support for all their customers.

The warranty was a huge selling point.
They pushed the warranty angle and reminded us how they were a US company and could honor it for life.

They lied.....and screwed us.
SulerT blamed clones and China, like every other failed mod business does, even though only one of their products was cloned years ago, and the clone sucked.

The shop is still operational, and they could easily service the warranty, they choose not too.
Bunch of ungrateful, honorless boys who lack any integrity. Real men stand behind their word.

I understand the reasoning behind this thread, much like the Reo threads that opened after that forum closed, but many of us have a bitter taste for SuperT and it is perfectly understandable that folks will vent here.

Personally, I thought that SuperT made fantastic mods, of which I owned several. Having said that, they deserved to fold. Their sales model was a joke: order an "in stock" item and wait months for it to show up. And there were a shocking number of fanboy apologists that would try to justify the wait. What a joke. Good riddance.

...not to mention the debacle that was the "Strata" RDA. What an overpriced piece of crap. And to have the owner of SuperT arguing publicly with a reviewer (who was clearly correct in his assessment of the RDA) was very unbecoming. Grow a skin pal. Not everything you dream up will be a hit.
