27 ga. 2.5mm and comes out .55. i had bigger builds earlier but i don't have a squonker yet so i'm dripping only. i did the smaller build so i could get juice past the wicks and down to the bottom of the deck for a little more vape time between squirts.

Nice! Good call on the smaller coil for dripping.

I really enjoy my Atmizoo mods, Roller and Lab, I hope you do yours as much. I have been a REO user for a long time but am back to mechs, preferably side fire and rta's, also 0.8 to 1.0 ohm builds.
However I like the GP Paps alot. Got to love the Greek mods, just works of art.

The GP PAPS had some time in the sun around here (about 4 months). Best mech tube mods I ever bought, I can't imagine any other being any better than them. So mine qualify as old mech orphans here... and maybe everywhere with their forum that was extremely busy 3.5 years ago pretty much a graveyard now.

Lost most of my old pictures of them in a computer crash or upgrade, they're stored away, but here's one that shows 7 of them (PAPS X's and V3's) with 4 Herons on X's, two hybrid Senio Drippers on V3's and an SNP Tank/Sophia on the Tix.

Thanks. I bought 3 of them when I was vaping ProVari's (2013 and into 2014). They worked perfect for my PAPS and all their extra tubes (except for the Piccolo) when they pushed the ProVari's out of use. Seems like forever ago now IAMA I stopped doing tube mods as my main gear Aug 2014 (the PAPS were the last tube mods I used).

Have more orphaned mech gear now that they are not being used... But they collectively were the longest run gear of all the gear I acquired with some of them in daily use for about 40+ months. They are what took me out of the tube mod game for good very soon after I had bought around $4K worth of VapourArt gear and spares in about a 4 month period. With the first one bought (after intentionally ignoring them for around a year) I overcame my previous mindset of 'why would anyone what to smoke s box?' attitude. Squonking Reos became my end game literally within hours of receiving my first one, so I ordered 4 more that first day. I still have endless pictures of all of them (and still have 34 of the 35 I bought), but shy away from trying to post pictures of all of them or the 100+ atty's I acquired for them. Maybe just a few, starting with he last ones used will suffice... four 2015 Woodvil's until I bought 5 P67's. But I also have a bunch of a bunch of Grands, 2.1's, 1.0's, 6 other earlier Woodvil's, an OG VV Grand and OG Mini from their first runs (2011).

Wow, what a beautiful collection! .

Thanks. That's 22 of them above, missing are all the mech Grands, more 18650, 18490 & 14500 Woodvil's, etc.

I'll add a pic that has the still mint OG VV Grand in it, another with a couple of the older 18650 Woodvil's w/2013 Cyclones, and one of the early 18490 Burl Woodvil's I call Calamity Jane w/custom RM2 made just for her.

I have to say Spydro between you and Anavidfan y'all have the nicest collections of any I have seen. Here or any forum.
I have a few nice pieces of gear but nothing like the stuff y'all have. I have one REO grand now, couple Super T workhorses, couple Atmizoo mods and an old PAPs v2, several cheaper mods and that's the extent of my collection. Have an assortment of tanks but nothing exotic and mostly MTL gear.
I keep an RDA or two and a Tesla III just in case the urge for clouds hits.
PIF to alot of friends and family and sold a few items here on the classifieds.

I look at new gear often and sometime load a cart up when I see a great sale then back out thinking my old stuff just works. I may buy a hex ohm 3 one day to replace the Tesla and always on the watch for a nice deal on the older authentic mods.

With all this said I'm not anywhere in the same league as y'all. But man I enjoyed looking at your collection.
Kinda like going to a car show and admiring all the slick street rods and muscle cars.

Honestly, there is only ONE league and its what makes you happy. Some of the photos I post are just the same thing over and over, with mixing of switches and tops. I dont have many atomizers, just multiples of the same cause I constantly get disappointed by new RTAs and RDAs.

The mech/tube mods, again, multiples of the same and in the last year since people are having "fire sales" or selling them at nothing prices or giving them away, literally.... I have been able to get a few that I always wanted but could never find. SOme have underwhelmed, so I give them away...

I have maybe 6 different mechs ( spare tubes and tops and caps to keep it fun ) I have 5 RTAs, and a pair of Genesis and 2 different drippers. ( Origen V3 and a few of the old fatty V1s and V2s )

I just love taking photos and dont have actual friends or family that vapes, so I get bored and share photos.

Again, its what makes YOU happy and satisfies you to keep you off smoking. Believe me, since I started a FB page for Vintage gear, I have seen things that make my jaws drop, things Ive never heard of or seen, and things that are so custom at prices that I can NEVER justify. Some peoples collection of really rare and really expensive old gear can fill a room. My gear is very common and mainstream and stuff they rid themselves of to get the vintage gear that still fetches hundreds of dollars if you can even find someone to let go of their spares.

Enjoy, I rather have one or 2 devices that are good to me in performance and ease, than things that are cool that are "meh"

Agree with @anavidfan in that life is short and whatever makes you happy should be a major goal. Vaping is subjective at the personal level. What works well for you personally is all that should really matter. If I didn't have so many DIY's that I really love I could get by just fine with a half dozen mods/atty's.

As I've said, my path in vaping has been progressive, same as with all the other hobbies I've enjoyed during my life. This one has been a quest for my own perfect vapes from gear and DIY, an almost 5 year adventure so far. In turn when gear has worked the best for me at the time I bought a bunch of it. But I also bought some over hyped junk. That's why I have acquired so much vape gear. Well that and because I have always been a collector of many different fine things that I have been very interested in during my life. Some in vaping was collecting a companies early gear just to have a piece of their history, some are prototypes and unicorns of high end gear. I don't vape them, I just enjoy them. The collectibles I care about are still around me, I don't resell them (stopped doing classifieds and/or shipping years ago).

In some ways I envy those who found their niche in vaping with minimal gear. But the quest gives me something to do, so it will most likely continue to the last hurrah.

Kind of funny that you brought up hot rods and muscle cars. They and motorcycles were my main rides from the late 50's to early 80's, and I've always had at least one ever since. My currant toy is 46 years old, an Elvis Stingray in near mint condition. But it hasn't been driven for over 5 years.

Old vettes are cool, my old man would take us to the drive in in his 64 rag top when I was a kid. He and Mom in the seats and my sister and I in the trunk. Hehe.. I have a couple old Triumph Bonnie's, 69 and 70, a Jeep J10 Sportside and an old Evo sporty.

As for vaping I agree with y'all completely, but do admire your collections. I visit the mech forums here on ECF because of the beauty and simplicity of the mechs. Nothing wrong with anything that works for folk.

Again thanks for sharing the pics, good stuff.

Thanks. This C3 is the newest Corvette I've owned. The others were C1's and C2's.

Mechs were my first love, but I also greatly enjoy those regulated mods that I still use.

More long orphaned mech mods from 3-4 years ago when they were the rage.... 3D printed Peko mech bottom feeder mods from Gdeal, Shapeways (Netherlands) and Sculpteo (France). I have 4 Peko V2.2 kits and 2 printed shells from Sculpteo.

Unfortunately, I guess?, I never got around to building mine. I bought the extra stuff needed to assemble/complete them, made a doc file of the step by step build w/pics, but never did get to them. So they still reside in the bags they came in.

pekokits.jpg

They came in many colors and 2 different finish grades. Some folks mixed the colored parts for accents, some painted them or hydro dipped them for endless individuality. In use supposedly very good mods, and ultra lite.
