I'm finding it increasingly impossible to use newer 510 cartomizers and tanks without a 510 neck extension. And they all either don't thread or are too long or both.

Does Super T offer one hidden somewhere on the site? Any particular one that is short, secure, and favored by Precise enthusiasts? -Magnus

I couldn't find one either so I made one! Get a dead cartomizer, pull all the rubbish out of it and pop the centre post out the connector, cut the cart. off so that it is 1 cm in length then press in a battery connector (I used my reloading press for this but a hammer will do). Then carefully file down the connection posts till they are the right length to meet and make a good contact but still let the atomizer seat properly. Works great and can’t even be seen when the tank is fitted.
Sorry about the quality of the pics! Must get a new camera:laugh:

What types of devices are you using them on and what brand(s) of tanks? I've looked at a few tanks, and there's no reason the designers can't make them a bit different so that the end of them doesn't go down so far and interfere with the tops of mods. I think you are going to see more and more mods to with more recessed type atomizer connecters. It's hit or miss on the Precises, some work, some don't. I'm not a big fan of adapters, as i imagine you are not either, so i think the solution should be in the tank.

It's become hit-or-miss with standard cartomizers now too. The new G4 cartomizer is almost 100% miss, the latest CE2 revisions are about 50/50, the dual-coil from SmokTech is a tight fit and creates an overly tight draw vs using the same thing on other mods.

So I'm at the point I have to use an atty/drip on my Precise which I strongly prefer as my Go-To but since I've got some dexterity issues dripping is messier than it needs to be for me. Or get a neck so I can use the cartomizers that make it easier for me to vape. -Magnus

I suspect opening up the juice well a few thousandths for you would work wonders. On some atomizers, my recessed design puts the walls pretty close to the atomizer. Feel free to send it in and i'll open it up a few thousanths for you...

THAT! SEE THAT RIGHT ^^^^ PEOPLE?! That's good customer service.

David, I just ordered a short neck and that'll do the trick for now. If I place a new order can I request that up-front for future use? Thanks much, -Magnus

I just got these new 510 Cartos that I really like.
New Varying Resistance Dual Coil 510+801 Colossal Cartomizers
The diameter is larger than a regular 510. I have a set of calipers....if I give you the dimension could you open up the well on mine while it's being fabricated?

I decided on another solution in my particular case.... w/ the G4s I used a 38 guage wire, one wrap around the base on the cartomizer. It provided enough breathing space and a stop for when I screwed them in. They get a connection and vape MUCH better now. I did the same thing with my MAP and it worked fine. So to the naked eye it looks flush, a-OK, and I'm happy. -Magnus
