Here is my take on a good wick and coil:
I did a 4/5 wrap where all 4 full wraps were directly over the air hole, this has an added benefit besides the obvious. Since the wick is free of the coil wraps closer to the center the wick is able to make a more relaxed bend to go downward. This was my best setup and my last one on my KF, it now has a new home.

This was with a .9 ohms 30 gauge Kanthal coil and a single length of 'regular" 3.5 mm silica, S shaped.

I found the fill valve to be great. I can fill it full in under 10 seconds and no pressure issues here

Dear all , a very good day and hope everyone is well
Got mine this morning and i just loveee it .

2x 3 mm silica wick , 8 wraps of 30 g nicrome , it measured out at 2.5 ohms , currently set on the provari at 5 volts and this thing is amazing .

an appeal to anyone wanting to sell one , plesase pm me , i want like 4-5 of these -

can pay or trade a Nova hybrid , the nova hybrid is close to $300 , but i really dont like ss mesh .

Lets start with using the fill valve in case someone is having difficuties
Face the 510 connector away from you in a somewhat level position with the air inlet facing up, the raise the 510 end slighty to make the air inlet the highest part. Apply bottle tip with minimal pressure and fill slowly and steadily, as the liquid goes in the air that's inside will exit the air intake and the mouth piece. It might be good to have tissue at mouthpiece during filling although I never made a mess of it.

Next: Did I not like it?
I liked the KF pretty good, really easy to use and service, never had a leak other than when filled from the top. My main reason is called Ithaka . I would give the Kayfun 3.1 an A+

If I was putting in a new coil I would dump the juice into a shot glass and pour it back in from the top but I much better like using the fill valve, that it really a nice feature.

Finally got the kayfun 3.1 ES in from Russia - set up perfectly with a 2.1 ohm coil and Ekowool wick. Here's a pic with the mini 2.1 ES in long mode (lol)

Man, the flavor on the 3.1 is insane. Going to have to stock up on ekowool and SvoeMesto pigtail nichrome

yeah,there are diff. type but same value of nichrome,single double or triple strands ending up having the same ohms per foot depending on what you use them with...those Russian guys are really technical.

Adjustments of wick, amount, coils and air intake did the trick. Watched numerous video's and applied all the tips and tricks.

I know that's the way to go!
Been doing so non stop the last few weeks
Wanna be well prepared once i get one...

Yeah, wish it was sold in the US. I've been getting mine from cloud9vaping.co.uk but it is kinda pricey...
