BTW,diff. parts for the battery packs to complement the 3.1 ES are being made as we speak :)

Stay on your toes, something tells me that you all need a complete kit to really enjoy your Kayfuns and laughing at all the crap you bought previously

Ooh??? Do you have any guesses on when and where they'll be released?

Lol, hope it's not. Supposed to be an improved Odysseus

If I remember correctly it's actually supposed to go back to the iAtty principles but without all the stupid plastic bits. Nope, I lied.

Also, I think I may have gotten the wick and coil method down and will probably throw up a video this weekend if things hold well for anyone having issues. She's a very particular lady on the inside.

And, what the hell....

I've also managed to drop the damn thing already. Went to class wearing sweat pants, got up, and plunk went rolling down the lecture room floor. Not a mark on her tho, just some very very slight scuffing that's no more noticeable than the slight damage that was done in shipping.

Got my first Kayfun on Tuesday, it's a 3.1ES and I'm running a 0.8ohm ribbon kanthal coil, just because that's how I like my gennies. After filling I found it wasn't wicking well, so I was having to unscrew the top a little to let some air in at which point it became slightly flooded for a drag or two, then vaped fine for a bit until it ran dry again. I figured I didn't have the wicks poked down far enough, but after the first quarter of a tank had gone it started wicking fine, maybe the weight of the juice in the wicks helped them move a little lower in the chamber, either way, it's been wicking fine since. I'm not getting the awesome flavour that most people have mentioned, but it's in no way bad and it's my first build, so there's bound to be room for improvement. Overall I'm quite impressed and it's nice to be enjoying something that doesn't leak when it's not upright.

It takes some time to get the build correct, but when it's right, the flavor is outstanding.

setup in mini. This setup seems to work pretty good. A little gunk build up after about 6 ml of juice, but has given excellent flavor. Dry burn cleaned it up just right.

3mm standard silica wick, 30 gauge kanthal 1.5 ohms vaping at 4/3.9 volts or 10.-10.7 watts---wick fits in the side area next to juice channels.

Seems to work better filling by the "classic" method, much quicker too. Just fill it, leave a little gap, then flip it up side down when putting the top cap on. Might end up with a little juice in the collector tank, but only when you've put too much in or wait too long before capping it. Fill valve seems to cause strange pressure.
