I've finally outsmarted this atty. I've got everything working as expected except I still don't have a very good method of making sure I have enough lead wire to pull the coil up. I'm finding that tightening the screws will sometimes make the coil too tight to lift. My work around for that is to put a spaces made out of pieces of a business card under the coil when attaching, but I shouldn't have to do that if I'm doing it right. My lead wires come over the top of the wick to the screws as I find that having the underneath the wick makes for hot legs. Suggestions?

The legs should be pointing away from each other and coming off the bottom. If your looking at the screw heads and one screw is at 12 o'clock and the other is at 6 o'clock the wick will be either 11 to 5 or 1 to 7 o'clock. I guess that your wrapping your leads clockwise under the heads of the screws, don't make them so tight that they pull the wire around under the head.

Not to say you can't wrap the wire under the screws counter clockwise or put the wick from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock but this is the "normal" way

I probably should have ask how far are you trying to lift it, as it doesn't take much to get it high enough to not short.
I see nothing wrong with your method of shimming by the way.

......btw , how much liquid does the dream tank hold and is it worth getting one people !!

It holds about 1.5 ml...I refill about 1 ml at a time. On the plus side, it's not bad to cook the juice and if you have some mixes that are sensitive to cooking they'll stay fresh tasting to the last drop lol. The draw is too airy but that's fixable with some ss mesh in the bottom or a little tape over part of the air hole.

Start this video at about 2:40 to see what Todd thinks of them. DREAM RBA - YouTube

My 2.1 is still somewhere between the UK and California. Got a shipping notice from cloud 9 on the 26th and Royal Mail says its been handed off to USPS, so I'm in tracking limbo.

I've been loving my BT804 quasi-clone. Aside from some annoying leaks and its skimpy capacity, the thing has really surprised me by how well it vapes. I've been using it on my Natural with a 1.2Ω coil and cotton ball wicks, so I'm pretty confident I'll be able to set up the 2.1 in a similar fashion.

I've noticed the BT804 eats through juice like no other atty I've every used. Couple that with its measly 1.3ml capacity and I find myself topping it off three to four times a day. Would love to hear if anyone has experienced that and if the same holds true for the 2.1 or any Kayfun for that matter.

strange, but the 3.1 I got from Russia fills with the fill hole in about 10 seconds. The one I got from Cloud 9 took about 3 minutes (with sore fingers) when filling from the fill hole.
Mine was a breeze to fill with the bottle, were the supplied tips identical?

Since my Cloud9 bottle had a luer lock filler tip, I just attached it to a glass syringe for a nice, smooth, easy fill (still haven't set up the 3.1). I know I won't be able to wait until Thursday when my new juice flavors are due in.

The 3.1 from Cloud9 fills perfect with the supplied tip and bottle, no leaks and quick

I just know I won't be able to settle on 1 juice to put in the "filler bottle". The syringe allows me a little more convenience and variety. I have a bunch of those same plastic luer lock dispenser tips coming from Amazon too.

yeahh they are good to have, got some extra's bottles, tips also.

I really like the 3.1. After a day of usage it really kicks in and no dry hits ever, easy to fill, good flavor, very pleasant vape

My first post in this thread was close to 2 months ago - so I'm pretty happy to finally have 1 in hand now. :)

Re syringe - I do use glass which allows for a nice, slow, smooth push. I' don't know that I would try it with a plastic syringe as the rubber gaskets can get sticky and the flow would be more difficult to control.
