I'd just keep trying to be patient, especially since it's ecig related, you don't want to jeopardize your account. And now you know to order from a different vendor like InTaste or Vape Rev if you ever get another :) good luck!

Yep, lesson learned. I'll never order from Russia again. I thought I could deal with an extended wait to receive it, but now it's been 36 days and each new day that passes annoys me anew. I feel rather abused to have paid $20 more per Kayfun than people who ordered from U.S.-based vendors. That's just stupid.

Anyways, I hear great things about the kayfun itself and I hope to one day be able to try it out. oh, screw it. If vaperev has any in stock, I'm going to buy one right now. If my order ever arrives from Russia, I'll burn it as a sacrifice.

My best assumption would be wick issues.

When filling make sure to leave small amount of air in the tank. As the wick expands it will leak into evap chamber if the KF is too full.
Stop your fills at the top of clear tank.
Check your air adjustment it may need to be lossened a bit. You may be pulling to hard. I leave mine flush with base.
The grooves of the juice flow may be blocked by wick - I guess this or that your wicks are above grooves not laying on top of them. And, Do not lay them in the grooves!
Is your catch chamber full of juice? Turn it upside down and hold a napkin over the airhole and blow out.(this has nothing to do with dry hits) unless your wick is not soaking juice correctly.

GL!

Interested to know the leangth of wick everyone leaves in the evap chamber and the size of ekowook using after coil is built and the wick is placed over grooves. From end of coil to end of wick on both sides.
Thanks

Im still getting a burnt taste. Ohms at .7 is this why?? Also if i tear it down and clean it. Build a coil again, wil i damage the kayfun if i do a dry burn to adjust any hot spots?

My guess... your coil is burning the juice quicker than the wick can supply it and/or you may have hot legs or portions of the coil not in contact with the wick. :)

Do you have any 2mm ekowool? Try that. How any layers of wicks do you use.

I i folded the 1mm ekowool over 3 times so when i laid it across i had a end on each side. I snipped the ends off so i was left w just the loop on each side. Like in the video. So to adjust it afain i have to empty all the juice out first and take it apart.?

Can i dry burn the coils to work on the coil placement or will it damage the kayfun?

What is the lenght of ekowool do u guys use? Im never going to give up on this kayfun. I want to make it work

Try regular silica. ekowool cant keep up with low ohms . I switched back.to regular silica vaping at .8 ohms no dry hits with chain vapping .

I disagree. There are many > ekowool users including myself. I am .8-1.0 in most every build, wether it is spheroids, nimbus, Kayfun, GG. It keeps up terrific. One of the tricks is to realize what size best for the application. The Russian Ekowool is the real deal and is far superior that others.

I am currently >1 now with 1.5 eko and next build will be 2.0 eko.

@icucme - i made my first coil came out .6 or .7... with good amount of XS116 and as per the setup thread with photo's... was getting good enough wicking but some vapes were hot and harsh... i'm thinking because the low ohms. I have to take inhales into mouth and carefully inhale; some are nice some are hot...
i open the air draw a little more so it helps with harshness, shorter inhales.
I think next build will be more close to .9 ohms...
