Thye probably do not. As far as I've still heard only JMK fits both.
I recall something about the first release of the SXK BB had a 510 key with different thread pitch and was later changed to the same as the authentic.
But if there's one brand of tips that will fit both SXK and authentic......well then I'm confused. But for sure I'm not sure.

Good call, I forgot about the threads being different on the SXK.
Yeah,it makes it bad because i have thought about grabbing a few different flush fit keys to see if any of them will fit,but that's too much money to chance that they won't fit.

It confuses me too,i know the JMK tips fit fine,i have one on my black mod,but @gsmit1 has an SXK that was just made this year, and the JMK fits it fine, but he bought another brand thread in tip, that wouldn't fit it.I don't why 1 will fit and others won't,it seems the threads are apparently the same or none would fit,i would think.

Yes, actually made this year. I bought an authentic BBV nut from a guy on Reddit as a spare and it doesn't fit. The threads are different. JMK managed to pull off a size that fits both. Here is a pic of the SXK and BBV side by side.

Those of us,like me,that want a flush fit key,may be in luck.
Through my searching,i came across several people saying the YFTK Boxxer comes with a flush key. They all agree, the YFTK Boxxer is garbage haha, but it does include the key and a clone Odis button. It's $27 at FT,which is around the same price it would cost for a flush fit,so i'm going to take the chance and get one to see.
Here's the pic they have for that Boxxer, and the drip tip is definitely sitting flush.

Supposedly the thread on the authentic is 1/2" x 20TPI, I bet SXK used M14x2 instead and that would explain things not fitting. If a key was cut with a little looser spec it would fit, which is probably what JMK did with their key tips to capitalize on both the authentic and clone markets.

Not to add confusion- but the SXK Bantam has threads that are not compatible with the SXK BB.
Why SXK would use different specs for a part that should be common on two items...????
(Don't know if authentic BB threads fit the Bantam- seems highly unlikely, but I can't confirm or deny)

I do not understand why SXK didn't just make the threads compatible with the authentic in each case. I did get them to send me 5 spare keys though.

I'm glad you posted that,i forgot i have 1 spare from when i installed the JMK.Since i had a spare to play with,i did a thing haha.I used the dremel, and made a flush fit,now i don't need to spend $27 on one.Actually very easy to do too, took about 5 minutes.

And here is a standard 510 tip sitting flat on top.

I don't mind them how they are, but I might try that with an extra.
I'm just the opposite,i hate seeing that nut showing under the drip tip.I didn't mind it until i got a Never Normal donut tip that covers the nut, then i seen how much better it looked not seeing it,and hated it ever since haha.
It was really easy to do though.Just grind the top down flat. You will have to cut the coin grooves a bit deeper down too,i went just above the first thread.I would grind a bit, then test fit until i got it down just below the edge of the mod.

Been following this thread for a while now and decided to pull the trigger on a sxk billet box with the dna chip. I opted for the vape shell & insider, now my problem is the flavour seems to be muted, now I’ve been vaping coming up to 4 years with 3 years of building, so I’d like to think I know my stuff but I just can’t get my head round why every build I do is giving me such muted flavour. I have not been getting any dry hits (thank the lord) and my borro seems to be bubbling up nicely. Building around the .5-.6 mark 2.5 id and have tried spaced builds using kanthal also tried using claptons and even some tri core alien believe it or not! But still all seem to be muted. Am I expecting too much out of the device or am I doing something wrong! New to this forum also so... Hi! Any advice would be much appreciated and hopefully I am doing something wrong because definitely feels anti climatic to spend all this money on a setup and not enjoy it! Thanks in advance!
