No BB today. Only took 4 days to get from the far side of Canada to Miss., then 16 hours to get to NOLA (apparently by horse drawn wagon since it’s a 5 hour car ride). Two more days of foot tapping impatience, then the fun begins...
Take heart. I had a Noisy Cricket due yesterday and it went 25 miles outta the usual way north of me to Pontiac and won't be here until at least Monday.

I am also glad the BB is not my style. I could see spending a fortune easily falling down that rabbit hole. They look very nice.

Actually I have been vaping for 6 years. And I bought tons of gear in that time. Some of it good and some pretty bad. But everything I know now, I wished I started with the BB in the beginning and I would have saved a ton of money. As I have 4 BB I bought last year and I only spent $400 on each one which means $1600 total. And now I am set for the rest of my life. ;)

Very true. For me I'm more of a cloud chaser sooooo it's not for me. My Luna is what I use for small vaping. LOL! Good luck hunting rabbits!

With Claptons in the A-tank, you can chuck clouds about as well as a Cleito. :thumb: Although you are still stuck with an 18650 battery. :(

I hear ya. The people that have the BBs seem to love them. Like you and many others I have spent $$$$ on so much stuff. Some stuff I really like and some stuff NO! Luckily I do know what I like and have got to the point I can just look at how something is designed and pretty much know. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it I'm done buying vape gear. The stuff I really want now I just can't afford anymore. I've had thoughts of breaking into @Tralfaz house and stealing his stuff but that's probably not a good idea. LMAO! Anyway, I think at this point in the game it's too late for me to go exploring new rabbit holes.

I hope so, but you know what somebody's gonna say, so it may as well be me.

Every regulated device will give up the ghost at some point :( It's just the nature of micro electronics.

The right tube on the other hand will last 500 years.

I am not in any way trying to be an argumentative naysayer at all. It's just that it's asking quite a bit of any solid state digital device that it work for you forever.

True. Which is why I have a nice assortment of tube and squonk mechs. When the regulated stuff goes kaput, I’ll go back to them. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the new fangled stuff I have.

Yeah I hear that a lot. While I fire up some of my computers from the 80's that still works just fine. And my Marantz 4400 quad is from the 70's. And it still sounds very nice. ;)

Yes I too have a tube. Dangerous little bugger. ;)

I’m only on page three, I got lost at DT key . Took me a minute lol.
You're right where I was this time last year haha!

The "key" is the threaded collar that screws in and out allowing you to get the boro out of the well. It also completes the circuit by connecting the negative part of the bridge/rba with the body of the mod which is also itself all negative. Oh yeah. Your drip tip goes in there too. Unless it's a hybrid tip that has it's own threads.

I'm going to keep reminding you. The Xeta is awesome, but when you get to it, don't overtighten that positive post. Snug and done.

You don't have to read this entire thread before getting started btw :D

We can answer your questions too.
Don’t encourage me . I’m up to page 21.
I figured the “key” out... it just requires the dime I keep in the dotaio drawer. Boro out (careful not to flip the glass) , gasket lubed. Slid it back and forth a few times. No wrinkles, or snagging so far. Defied my own orders, put a nauty mesh 0.7 in the adaptor....just a tad fiddly with long nails, but finally got it in, condensation plug mashed on and the boro back in.
No idea if or how one would adjust af, but it vapes!! Small issue... the little black circle off the bottom of the kanger rba (the one in the boro when it arrived). I seem to have that leftover .
Does it go on every adapter/bridge? I’ll build one of the rbas tomorrow (probably the xeta???) when I have better light. Impatience and excitement won out tonight.

I brought out one of my styled Kayfun v5 25 mm tanks this morning. I had to watch a review video to see if I was taking it apart correctly which I was but it was really stuck together....LOL, Hot water and Gorilla tape did the trick. What a great device performance wise. Stuck it on my Hcigar Vt133.

Note the cat hair at top

It's funny that you show that picture. I was just playing my Kayfun v5 squared. I disassembled it and debated on building it, but decided against it. It's gigantic! It makes me feel like I'm yielding a light saber and sucking on it. It's a very good RTA.

I just started on DIY e-liquid and I have 7 recipes in various states of steeping. I have a few that I am trying to tune for the Billet Box with EUC coils. Afterwards I plan on taking the mixes and trying it in other atty's like the Kayfun and the Taifun GT4 and see how they fare.

So the Kayfun will get it's time. Just not tonight.

The bridges that use coils don't have airflow adjustment. At least I haven't seen any. It's only the rba's that allow you to adjust airflow.
