@BillW50 hello Bill I think you ought to try taking off the display/button plate on the other side and investigate juice ingress.

When I changed mine over to the gold plates I was surprised at how much liquid/condensation was under the plate housing. If you've had the same then it may have gradually built up?

Yes Albert's a good guy. Nice haul you've got there. I've held off on the silver slide plate until the trvp plate kit gets restocked.....it's making me a bit twitchy though cause I don't want him to run out of stock :D

I would expect the 510 connection on the SXK to be less than stellar. I still think there is condensation leaking down past it and following the positive battery lead down and out the bottom corner.
I looked and I didn't see anything in there. Got it to happen once with these clear panels.

The TRVP Master is awesome, the bigger the order the more stuff you get. ;)

I've got to get one of those SS windows to match my button plate. juice bottle top remover FTW.

That is some weird az s-it... It has to be seeping from the borrow tank down the line on the other side making its way around the edges of the button plate to the neg wire. When you refill your borrow tank you get a little pooling of liquid from sliding the glass back up.

It usualy comes down the right side but for some strange reason yours is coming down the left of the button plate..
Do you always wipe that pooling when sliding the glass back up?

I really cant think of any other possible way of this happening. I usualy wipe the pooling, the edges around the door panels, and stick a rolled up corner of the napkin in to the holes around the bottom of the borrow tank when not using the condensation plug...

I do it just to make sure theres no pooling around that positive contact from sliding the glass down... So basically its like wax on, wax off, wipe wipe wipe...

Nope, just a bit when you slide the glass back up were the glass was.

Absolutely. :)

Same here for the other three.

Yes. Although I think I figured it out.

I have seen this a lot. So it isn't something I worry about. But I just noticed the other 3 BB condensation plugs this doesn't happen. Just this one. I also caught this just once and you had to have the angle in the light just right to see it. Plus it was so thin it seemed to evaporate in a minute in this next pic.

So hopefully this ends the mystery. ;)

It's not a bad look that.. :D

I've got a source that trades in all sorts of of BB bits. Not sure he has any of the gold kits left though. Expensive too. I said no to 150 but kind of regret it.....im holding out for the new ones coming :)

Remember though you'll lose the USB.

Have a great day :D

Where do I get that Boro door and the other shiny beautiful stuff in your photo? I've googled BB vapes but get a confusing array of options.

Yes, the threaded nut that your 510 drip tip inserts into.

I just cannot believe that SXK does not sell those separately.
The way to get one is to buy the plate kit from SXK and that includes one. You can also get lots of OG versions too but there has been some controversy about whether they fit the SXK.

I saw the internal plate kits, but I don't want to spend 25 or 30 bucks when all I want is a couple spare keys for like 2 or 3 dollars apiece. :)

A guy sold me an authentic and it doesn't fit my SXK. However, I have a JMK naval brass hybrid tip made for the authentic that does fit my SXK.

Somebody told me that JMK tips are the only ones that fit both. I don't know. I wish I could get it settled once and for all. All I want are a couple spare keys. You wouldn't think that's asking so much :D
