I see no reason why the Vapeshell wouldn't fit, why would you think that it may not?

The size of it, the Crossbow looks like it's a close fit, when you take the square corners of the vapeshell into account, it just didn't look like it would fit...

Having a closer look, it might fit actually, there's a bit of spare room off the corners of the crossbow:

and looking at photos of the crossbow and vapeshell in boro tanks, it appears the vapeshell is slightly narrower than the crossbow, so yeh, it could well fit.... (I probably shouldn't make assumptions hey, lol, my bad)

bought an atlantis boro tank, adapter and 10 x 0.5ohm EVO coils from naturevape.co.uk (tank comes with a free coil also). setting the RBAs aside for a while and sticking with stock coil setups. building and wicking my regular RTAs saps me of much energy as it is.

Wicking's tricky with the Vapeshell. I've found using a 3mm id micro clapton with the wicks trimmed along the edge of the sides so you end up with almost a cotton bow tie works best. You don't stuff the cotton down into the wicking holes - quite the reverse. When you've trimmed your bow tie shape and wet the wick thoroughly you then tip the vapeshell upside down and use a thin coiling rod to poke the cotton up from underneath so there's a tiny space between wicking holes and wick. I got this (I think) from the Atmizoo site. The main problem then is making sure you don't jam it too hard into the boro. There's such a small space between the bottom of the boro and the wick holes. I spent months tweeking my vapeshells and when they're good they're great. Insider's easier even though the flavour's not quite as good

Thanks for the tip about pushing the wick up from the bottom through wick hole, that seems to have worked, not getting the dry hit issues,

For you guys having a hard time getting on with the Vapeshell...
The trick is "not to clog and block" the holes on the bottom of the vapeshell to allow juice to enter when you pull.. Get a big paperclip then push the cotton away from the holes at the bottom. You want to allow the juice to enter the atty before it saturates the cotton. Not saturate at the hole like an rdta. It takes a few trys to get it right but you wont regret it. The vapeshell is best on flavor followed by the insider, another tricky atty to build but worth learning.. I like the fact that the wick holes sit at the bottom allowing more vape time in between refills. Unlike others on the market where wick holes sit almost in the middle of the tank requiring faster refills...Fight for your rights to vape!!!

Good news. Hope it keeps working for you. It's worth visiting the Atmizoo site for setup tips.

As slow as my recent Fasttech packages have been moving, you'll probably get yours well before i get mine,so be sure to post your thoughts when you get it,so i know what to expect haha.
Will do. Todd's review and tutorial is a good one so I'll try his techniques first. I'm a DL guy

Yeah,i watched Todd's review on it when i first seen a clone was being released.I'm DL too,so that is what really got me interested in the Xeta is that it should be a very nice DL without any of the adapters in there.

Hi Peeps ...I got one of the Sxk BB about 2 weeks ago and the vapeshell a week later...I must say I am very impressed with both...the mod itself is really well finished and looks great. The vapeshell with the build I have put in it is giving me a really flavour some lovely vape at 27.5W it's the most simplest plain coil I've used for about 5 years ..5 wraps of 26g kanthal 3mm....wicked as mentioned in earlier posts by poking through the juice holes ...its perfect !!! I have a YFTK xeta on the way and would be so surprised if it can get any better so fingers crossed.

Also wanted to ask how I can flip the display ...I've read previously about escribe ? But have never used that...any help would be much appreciated

Looks great! And yes, EScribe is what works for flipping the screen. :D

It's pretty easy to do.Yes,you have to download escribe, which can be found through Evolv's website. You connect a usb to the mod and your computer, then on the escribe page, there is a spot that says screen orientation and you choose left or right, then hit the button at the top of the page that says upload settings to the device.

I don't think I've seen this discussed on this thread-
what is lowest coil build (ohms) that anyone has had success with, either the Exocet or the Vapeshell, without any wicking issues. ?
The resistance wouldn't make any difference to wicking. I had a 0.09 NiFe70 build in my vapeshell for a while.

Bit of an update on the Insider V2 and Crossbow, I'm trying to analyse these and get a good feel for them before the Xeta arrives...

The first couple of days I switched them back and forth between the BB and Bantam a couple of times, they're both quite a good vape but I definitely prefer the Insider V2 in both devices, the airflow is just perfect for me with smallest airflow insert and chimney ... The crossbow seems to have more throat hit and flavour, probably due to the small chamber, but the airflow is a bit on the tight side even though I prefer a real tight draw...

For the last week I haven't removed the boros, I wanted to see how well the crossbow condensation plugs worked and get a good idea of any leakage and such (I bought 2 Crossbow clones mainly for the condensation/airflow plugs)...

The BB with Insider V2 with smallest airflow insert and chimney - second tightest red insert in the condensation plug - 1.8ohm coil around 10-11 watts - This has been my main-vape... Nice and dry, one little spot of juice up the top but I think that came from filling:

Tiny bit of moisture around the positive pin, insignificant:
P9302059cc.jpg

The Bantam Box with Crossbow is a bit different, this hasn't had a great deal of use, maybe half to one battery per day, it was fairly wet:
P9302070c.jpg

I get a fair bit of condensation up in the drip-tip with the Crossbow also, it could be down to wicking but I suspect the single tiny airflow hole is a big part of the reason the condensation is so bad, the pressure differential and such:
P9302081c.jpg

Since I have 2 crossbows I might drill the hole out a bit bigger on one to see if that changes things..

Anyway, even though I had issues with the screws on the Insider V2 at the start it's a clear winner for me, with the way the airflow is restricted fairly evenly all the way through the insider it seems to works much better than the crossbow which relies on the single choke-point to set the airflow... YMMV...
