Someone convince me that I don't need to try the new 2k18.

Methinks your GPS may have led you astray.

I wouldn't say you shouldn't try the 2K18, but I'd recommend you give this one a try:Calling all Dog lovers - The Ehpro True MTL RTA

You know, that one did catch my eye, but my only issue with it was I felt like all kinds of lint and dirt would get in the little area where the top fill is when it's closed and when you open it to fill it would just fall into the tank. Wish they would've used a sliding top fill mechanism. Have you had any issues with that?

Quoting myself here. Just to be clear, I don't have the tank, but this is an issue I could see just from looking at how it's designed. I could be wrong though.

It's been awhile, and I just wanted to drop in to say hi to all my Doggy lovers. :) Mine are still going strong, and have been the only atomizer I've used since around august of 2017 (Seems longer). Someone convince me that I don't need to try the new 2k18.

I love how a doggy looks on a pico

Everything about the 2k18 works well. The juice flow control - turning the drip tip closes off the chamber, top fill works great and I find it an easier deck to wick.

BUT I still prefer how the regular old bottom filling 2k16 doggy looks and functions.

I've yet to find something they don't work well on, but agree, they do go quite nicely on a Pico.

There's a saying up here in the states, which I'll paraphrase here:
    THEM dawgs'll hunt!

The drip tip colors tell me what flavor is in there, so don't nobody say NUTTIN'. ;)

Love me dawgz..... on everything, from the least expen$ive little nothing run-around back up mods, to the ....

<thump thump goes the heart> Danny Reagan Mini Box.

Leave it to a Kween to name her Dicodes after a.Blue Bloods character (who also happens to be married to a spokesperson for Blu).

Well, yeah - you just need to keep your pockets cleaner, Icebat. ;)
Good eye- yes, sure it can get a little bit of pocket debris in there. Hasn't been a real issue for me, though. It stays surprisingly dry & lint free if you aren't messy in filling it. When refilling, I just give it a sharp blow if I see anything there. But it hasn't been much at all, and it's so good overall, I don't consider that a real negative. That sliding cap seems like a good idea, but it didn't work so well on the Ares- it created a lot of problems, and I thought that was a design negative. I think this one will be more reliable and long lasting. The True tank has pretty much taken the place of the doggies, still.

I ordered the 2018 one from FT so you won't be hearing my observations soon, at least unless I am lucky. I got two doggies in rotation and about to build a third. I got a grub screw back in my deck WITHOUT a magnetic screwdriver tho. I had to stop, I only have so much good "building time" but I am QUITE pleased with my progress. LOL it will probably be built by the end of the weekend. I'm being realistic.

Only thing I do not like about my doggie is they are so unthirsty I'm like rewicking them all the time and yes, I have lifted my coil off the deck and yes I use rayon. I think it just is what it is with this atomizer. But, flavor machines so I don't worry too much.

I mean my wicks go bad sort of too soon for my taste. Like one can go bad over the course of a tank. It's not like rewicking them is HARD, and also, a tank seems to last forever (because they give awesome flavor without using that much eliquid, at least they way I set mine up, they don't.

So I feel like I'm rewicking them all the time, I wish I could find a way to do that. I have raised the coils off the decks and that seems to help. Some. Not enough.

I wonder why. Mine seem to last forever.

Because it's the doggy. You know me and the doggy, nothing's ever easy. I guess I can say I've been using sweetish juices but I don't know. I could vape unflavored, and the doggies would still do it.

LOL, the Rose V3 (awesome flavor and so cute! Really!) has them beat by a country mile. I was DETERMINED to make it work it only took like 2--3 hours. It does have great flavor, though.

Also, if anyone comes across an atomizer named "coyote" I demand to know. That's a pack animal I can get behind. Me and dogs coexist (except my son's dog who I love) because the males in my house have to have them.

"You don't need to try the new 2k18". (picture Alec Guinness doing a hand wave; just happened to catch a story on BBC about jedi religion)

But seriously, the 2k18 only really brings different looks to the table along with it's looser SJMY-like draw (can be swapped with the pin from SXK 2k16 though).

The 2k16 didn't need juice flow control so that feature is somewhat superfluous in the 2k18. Moreover I can't adjust it when the tank is filled and ready for use.

Top fill sounds nice on paper, but I've learned that I must close air flow or incontinence may follow, especially if the wick channels aren't completely stuffed to the hilt. I'm also getting some juice residue on my fingers every time I remove the thin top cap.

I often pair my doggies with istick picos and Sod's law states that the air hole will face the battery cap, meaning that any adjustment or closing it requires partially unscrewing the Doggy.

They could have fixed the common gripe of the freewheeling AFC ring by adding a stopper and little gnurling, but nah. Maybe in 2k20?

I like my doggies and the 2k18 is nice as well, but the carefree original is still the king of the canines.
