It's a great "comfort" tank. Very good flavor & performance (just under the Erls for me), ridiculously easy & forgiving to wick, and durable as heck. I have one that's been running straight lemon (vape) juice for almost two years, and nothing even close to a crack.

Plus, you can even drop them without worrying.

Good tanks to have on hand, in case our legislators ever decide to abuse their power & authority.

    ~Captain Denial (me, today) ;)

I just now realized a certain appropriateness that V (Vape) is the Roman Numeral for 5, directly relating to Article V of our Constitution.

Things that make ya go, "Hmm..."
Not 100% drop proof but this one fell just right. Iv'e dropped my dogs many times with only 1 fatality.

Talk about a perfect (imperfect?) hit, Bob! DAYUM!!! ;)

I've converted my smidgees (SJMY) (blame @DPLongo22 ;)) to clear PC tanks with no probs :thumb:

THANKS, Ange! Saved me the work. "LIKE!!!"

Is the SXK 2k18 top fill, MTL?

Tiz, HL. I'm not having a good relationship with that tank, but the top fill part is fine. Mine is soon to go into retirement. I'm sure it's just my build, but right now, we ain't frenz.

I have this one. Although haven't had time to try it yet. Too many new toys. lol.

Just wondering if the top fill version of the SXK is worth getting just for the top fill aspect. Thoughts? Will it fit on the original SXK's Doggy's deck, I wonder? When I read the comments under the top fill version, a lot of people seem to believe it's more DL, so ... ? I'm confused. haha

For ME, it has a "harsher" hit. Now, whether or not that's DL for some, I do not know.

The base seems identical to the other dogs, and I can let you know once I take it apart for kleaning.

I wanted it for the top fill option, and I'm not sorry about getting it. However, would I get another?

    Yeah/no.

The differences between the sxk 2k18 and the sxk 2k16 is top fill (duh ;)) and JFC. The jfc works by twisting the drip tip - which twists the chamber, until it blocks the deck.

The sxk 2616 doesn't have the same deck as the 2k18, so the jfc won't work:

    This is the 2k16 deck:

So if you don't wanna use JFC it will be fine. What most people did who wanted the smaller airflow id of the 2k16 sxk was removing the centre post of the 2k16 sxk and sticking that into a 2k18 sxk doggy deck.

I like the 2k18 version - but I much prefer the vape and reliability of the 2k16 version

(and I'm sure @DPLongo22 will know who to blame..... )

Of KOURSE I know who to blame! Not only did you name the dang things (no surprise there), but you also pretty much PUSHED them into my rotation! ;)

Therefore, it's actually all YOUR fault!!! :p

For everyone else here, I admit concurrence with Kat's assessment of the '18. It's plenty nice, and the top fill is good, but it's not the same vape (for me), and the kick from plastic to glass eliminates my durability comfort.

It also has a juice control that you need to find a drip tip that can work it, which sometimes turns into a hunt for me. Nice feature, but searching for a tip to work it can add some tiny bits of frustration (for me).

So IF it's the vape of the Sexies or Smidgies that one likes, the '18 might not be a bag of chips.

It's a very nice tank, and I've NO doubt that some will LOVE it (as MANY already do). But as Kat said, I wouldn't get another one either.

The "personal" aspects of vape continuuuuueee.....

I should point out here that, conversely (to the '18), I'm really enjoying the True MTL (EHPro). I get more of a "Doggy" vape from it than I do from the '18, interestingly enough.

It's also top-fill for those who are "AR" about that issue (I am not).

Again, I must thank @Katdarling for literally forcing it upon me. If you think I'm kidding, I am not. :vapor::laugh:

Back to vaping here and there! I fired up the doggy after smoking a cigar and realized how crappy it makes me feel, and remembering how awesome vaping was.

Although I was tinkering with lame commercial juice, I just made a few 120 ml of unflavored and my old go to recipes to enjoy in the evening after getting my nic order in.

I know this is the old doggy thread I like, but I also got a berserker mini 1.5, and I feel it’s pretty superior to the dogs that I used for years. The airflow is just ON POINT with the berserker mini, and the ease of use has me hooked.

just wanted to say hello again!
