i hear you, do you know what design are you thinking of covering with?
No, probably just go to the RC shop and pick a Monokote color I like and cover it. I just hate that slit. :)

i am really enjoying my m class. my best mod to date. youre gonna love it.
I already do. :) I'm just replacing my second device that doesn't have TL so I'll be like 2legs and have two SXmini's. Been loving the SXmini m since about the first week of April

Don't know if this has been reported but I found another bug. If I press the down button to change the power mode, eco, standard, etc. The up button changed them also. I have to lock and then unlock to change the memory settings. Only does it if I scroll through power mode first.

Not understanding. "Only does it if I scroll through power mode first"

But if you press the down button you have about 5 sec that you can change modes with either the up or down button. After that 5 sec you can hit the up button to change your Mx locations.

My bad. Must have been hitting the up button to quick. I still get the buttons mixed up and hit the down button by mistake. Never noticed it doing it before the update. But I guess it's my bad.

That is actually by design and even before the update. Once you click on the down button you go into power mode settings. From there you can use the up and down button to go forward or backwards. It will remain in that mode until you hit the fire button or just let it timeout.

The up button is different. If you click that first and then click the down button it will put you in memory bank settings mode. Further button adjustments will raise or lower the values.

It took a little bit to get used to Yihi's style with the buttons, but I now like them very much. Different, but very functional. Their main menu can use a little work though.

Not to scientific but both were using same build and fully charged battery

Standard mode before update: (notice this one isn't fully depleted, but I got maybe a one more pull before it said low battery)

After update using eco mode: (this one was reading low battery if I tried to fire it)

And you didn't use the USB to give it even a partial charge?

Its not magic, in fact, there is nothing special with Eco mode accept its turning the screen off after 5 seconds instead of a full minute, yes, its also been reported that it limits your Joules output to 40 or under but that is likely not going to be many, the bigger factor is the screen timeout.

Look at your smart phone, the screen is likely the biggest contributing factor to battery drain, this is no different.

Instead of Eco mode, they should have a screen timeout time for ALL modes, want your screen to turn off but still be able to use Soft, Powerful, or Powerfu+? Oh well, too bad, you cant (unless you want to hit the Up button every time you vape, which isnt an option).

Oh I didn't want to imply that I am using 18650 battery, I assume you are thinking that, I sort of forgot to mention I am using a bigger battery, its more of to show I got better results using ECO mode than standard in my mod
Ok, you got me there! lol I was wanting to know what kind of battery you are using and where could I get one! :vapor:

lol yeah I am sorry about that, I had taken the first pic a few days ago and was gonna post and then today I finally got to the end of the battery in ECO so I was like pretty pleased how much longer it lasted.

Here it is if you want take a look

Love the fact that I'm getting about 10-15% more battery life on Eco mode. However I'd much rather simply see an option to change how long the screen stays on.
As far as the modes setting go, it would make more sense to have them adjust the temp when in joules mode. Something like ....
Soft = 5% lower temp setting for 1 second.
Normal = No change
Powerful = 5% higher temp for 1 second
Powerful+ = 5% higher temp for 2 seconds

Very nicely done. Probably the best box mod I've seen with the 350j so far.

Just read this in another facebook forum... FYI.....

I'm experiencing another bug after the upgrade that I haven't seen mentioned. I'm no longer seeing the "Dry coil" alert when the wick is dry. Are others experiencing this?

Actually it turns out that the "Dry Coil" message did show up. It just took a lot longer for it to appear. So I'm not sure if this is a bug or they made it more accurate.

I experienced the same last night, the wick was dry enough, no vapor production and the "Dry Coil - No Liquid" message did not show up, I even left the power button pressed until the automatic cut-off.

Eventually the message appeared, but it took too long, I think this should be considered as a Bug.

By the way, it would be nice if when the "Dry Coil - No Liquid" message is shown, it remains on the screen for some seconds, maybe blinking?

Currently, it stops displaying the message as soon as you release the firing button.
