Thanks for the link. Here's the fb page on that mod, which gives a lot more info:

Seems like this is something one can also build via shapeways.com or sculpteo.com. My rough estimate is about $160 for DIY, provided you can get the parts at reasonably shipping (he only lists European suppliers).

Used to be a guy Vapedroid that had some nice 3d boxes on Shapeways don't know what happened with him. I got a B2-S1 for my original SX350 v2 60w chip and I still love it. It's just not TL. SX350j could easily fit in the same size case, would just need some redesign.

lol I just got done watching it....EXCELLENT video for anyone who did not update yet.
Yep, I think he did an excellent job explaining very clearly the update process. But he upgraded to v2.1 and not v2.21 which still isn't officially out.

I could just hear him now as he is testing Eco mode and then needing to change his battery. lol :danger:

I shot him an email indicating the problem with Eco mode battery removal. :) Hopefully he already knows and just didn't mention it as out of scope of the video's purpose.

Titanium in the STM on the SX works perfectly for me

My traditional build in the STM was Kanthal A1 5 wraps of 26awg

Have done this in 26awg Ti & it comes in around 0.26ohms

Needed to drop TP to 300f && I could not wish for a better vape [disclaimer: until something else tempts me]

Vaped half a tank last night && checked the coil/wick after washing in hot water ... both like brand new, unmarked !

Expecting much fewer coil changes with Ti as more resistant to gunking

The wire needs slightly heating to make coiling easier as its quite springy, then it coils like kanthal but holds shape even better

Highly recommended :thumb:

Gently heated till golden && stopped before too much blue appears, then pulled through wet towel to remove carbon deposits from torch

Coil does not move atall when wicking

Pbusrdo should be telling everybody about the flawed update and not to upgrade till it is corrected....but then he is only a reviewer and is not up to date on the problems...and if he is up to date on the problem then he should have told everybody this is how to update but don't do the first update as it is flawed...... his video will be a benefit to those wanting info on how to update.

Good that Vlad1 sent Pbusardo the info on the flawed update...

Yihi has sent, as you know, a beta update for the customers to try....folks are telling Pbusardo in the comments of his video about the buggy update....maybe he will edit his video???
I think it made more sense that he did it the way he did. Fast forward a week or 3, and the buggy firmware will be gone, and the video will still be relevant-- which it wouldn't be if he mentioned about the firmware bugs.
