All I know for sure is I love the adjustability of these thing. I start out in the AM at 385 12J and by noon I am at 400 and 16J then after about 6or 7 I work my way down again. I love it some of the guys on the other threads I go to think I'm crazy for all I have been through trying to get nickel to work and can't believe I can upgrade my mod through my computer but I think it is fantastic.

I don't know about "Crazy" but I have to agree you have shown more fortitude and sticktoitness (is that a word - Nah) than any other Ni200 vapor I have read the mail on. Yes the adjustability and knowing at least some of the parameters you can play with is a "God send" in my book.

So is the upgrade worth it at the moment? Meaning, should I go ahead and do it?
Definately if you do the patch too. The upgrade has a major bug in it but the Patch takes care of that. IMO it makes these things way better then before and you use less battery. But you either need the patch or be aware of the work around.

I should have worded that differently you don't use less battery but you get more total Joules on the same battery which comes out to the same. Battery lasts longer and TC is more accurate.
Okay, so I need to follow Pbusardo youtube video, then do the same thing with the patch? Where do I find the patch?

Ether get Legs or myself to email it to you. You can ask customer support to send it to you but that will take some time to get it that way.

It is actually not a patch but a complete firmware with a fix for the ECO bug.

PM me your email address and I will send it to you.

Yep get it from George I would probably send you the wrong thing. You can follow PB's although I did it differently. I DL the driver to my computer then just used it to apply the program. His way looked a lot easier but I got er done. It really makes a big difference. I thought this was the best device around and they made it twice as good with a simple download. Amazing stuff.

You might also remember after applying the upgrade you need to set all your functions again. Memories, if you want the gravity sensor on or off and if you turn it off then go to display and turn it to auto, also set whether you want Power or Joules. After the Patch or whatever you want to call it all you have to do is re sync the resistance between your mod and your atty.

Sure now the great mathematician doesn't know how to send a file.

Just to emphasize what Legs said "re sync the resistance between your mod and your atty" if you forget you won't be the first and you won't be the first to think the update bricked you Mod.

I just completed the update for my SX, but still need to install the patch (latest update).

Are those of you who've updated using the eco mode? Turning off gravity sensor?

Just wondering how people are changing the way they use their SX after the update.

Jimi D, there is a new update, v2.1 and I believe there's another one after that to fix a problem with the eco mode showing battery is dead.

Go to PBusardo's SX videos, and you'll find one in which he shows you step by step how to update (other then the patch, which at the time he filmed the video he was unaware of)
